Ok. So it's the same story, but she's just a fun read. You have to love this New Jersey bounty hunter. If you haven't listened to the books on tape do so. The reader of the tapes is very entertaining. Start off with One for the Money. Two for the Dough. Three to Get Deadly. Four to Score. High Five. The reader for the first few tapes is great! Then the reader changes and she almost has a Bostonian accent instead of one from Jersey!

This book is as great as the first Stephanie Plum series book. I have read all of the 13 books in this series 5+ times. I never get enough. Janet Evanovich is a top notch author. When you read this series over and over again, you become best friends with all the charicatures. Lula is one of those people you read and anticipate her next phrase or move. I can't wait for #14.

I have read all of the plum novels & couldn't wait for this one...and as usual I was not diappointed. This series is a nice light read. I am able to read it in little bits (which is how I usu read what with kids & all). I actually laughed out loud several times while reading this (also a necessity when you have children). great book, would highly recommend.

Ha these books crack me up. Heck they are so good my dad will read them. You do need to read them in order though or it may not make sense. But if you love adventure, comedy, and romance then you will love this book. However, I STRONGLY suggest that you start with book one and go from there. Book thirteen is not as good if you haven't read the rest of them.

I love the books in this series.  They are very light-hearted, and so funny.  Stephanie gets into some real pickles!  The grandmother is probably the funniest character-her and her funerals!  These books have a little of everything, romance, fun, comedy, adventure!  Start at One for the Money and work your way through!

While I do love this author, her books do become repetitive after a while. At the same time, It does not really matter with this series, because it has the same people, and kind of the same plot. This is a great book, and I would recommend it to anyone who would ask. It made me laugh and smile, and could not put it down until I finished it.

Loved them all!  Can't wait for the next one!  I do wish that she would write them a little more quickly or publish them a little more quickly - the wait in between is long.  Whil I am waiting, I also enjoy Sue Grafton's alphabet series,  Read them all religiously.  Highly recommeneded.

I laughed so hard my sides hurt. I can't wait to see just what Grandma Mauser will get into. Will Stephanie's Mom iron her self into a tizzy or just give in to the liquor in the cupboard? What about Joe and Ranger? Can't they just come up with a visitation schedule that Stephany can live with?

Stephanie does it again! She carried me through laughs, though a more serious funny this time, and connects with her femine side as always with Ranger. The characters are so alive and "Jerseyish" that they must be real. Grandma always suprises me with her wit.
