So, I'm not normally a fan of frozen dinners, I prefer to make things homemade. But I am on a diet to lose the rest of my baby weight, and it is sometimes tough to get the kids to eat the foods that I should be eating for weight loss. So on the nights that I allow them to eat "bad" foods, I figured I could eat some of these Lean Cuisine dinners.... And boy was I pleasantly surprised by how good they are!!! This option, the baja-style chicken quesadilla, is so so good! The chicken is a great texture, and all of the ingredients (corn, beans, etc) are crisp and fresh tasting. This is another great option from Lean Cuisine, and surprised me with the quality of the dish! This is a little bit on the small side, but if you add some non-fat beans, or low fat tortilla chips and salsa, you can have a more filling meal, and it's still a healthy meal :)

Oh my gosh! I love these they are so amazing. Baja style on top of that. Lean cuisine did a wonderful job. Kudos to losing weight with these wonderful goodies!!! They were a little too small though. but that is about it!

Lets start off by saying I love Lean Cuisine.  Most of the frozen entrees are so tasty and filling for me, and this Baja-style chicken quesadilla is no different. I usually stock up when my local grocery has Lean Cuisine on sale, as they can get a little pricey at times.  So, when this one went on sale I thought I'd give it a try.  The picture looked wonderful, and I admit to loving all of their other Mexican style entrees. I was slightly disappointed when I opened the box to find this "small" quesadilla.  I'm not sure what I expected considering the size of the box, but darn...that was a let down.  It was super simple to cook, as always.  I decided to make a big salad to go along with it.  BUT, in the long run, it was jammed packed with protein (18g) and fiber (8g) that this truly was filling in itself.  It really shocked me!  Plus the taste was magnificent!!!  The flavor, the texture it was just all in all a wonderful lunch for me!!! Yep, Lean Cuisine has done it again, made a wonderful lunch for me where I'm satisfied and smiling!!  I'll definitely be buying this one again!

This was the best frozen quesadilla I have ever had! The lean cuisine baja-style chicken quesadilla has grilled chicken strips, black beans and corn salsa with reduced fat mozzarella, monterey jack and cheddar cheeses in a flour tortilla. So when I first opened the box I saw how small it was and thought to myself "there is no way this will be enough for me to eat for lunch." Boy was I wrong! With 18 grams of protein and 8 grams of fiber it really filled me up. The baja-style chicken quesadilla had only 280 calories and 8 grams of fat, making it only 5 points on the weight watcher program, which I am currently following. I was pleasantly surprised at how much cheese and flavor it had. It was gooey and felt like I was eating something bad for me!

This Lean Cuisine Chicken Quesadilla frozen dinner/meal is very tasty, low in fat and calories and is probably the best frozen meal I've ever had.  I eat it at least once a week.  It is flavorful, looks appealing and is very convenient.  I can take it to work with me, on trips and just have for a snack of I only eat one of them (package comes with two).  I was skeptical when I first saw the package (I love Mexican food), but after just one bit, Ii know I'd love them forever!  I would recommend this meal for anyone looking for a quick, easy and tasteful alternative when on a diet - or just wanting something healthy for a meal or snack!
