Lost in the crowd of great Lean Cuisine entrees and dinners, it wouldn't be surprising if we began to get the roast beef or steak contestants mixed up and so I have to point out that Lean Cuisine Beef Portabello (Roasted beef with mushrooms and red skin whipped potatoes) is not the same as, i.e. Lean Cuisine Steak Tips Portabello (which I covered in another review). I heartily recommend the Beef Portabello with its succulent tender meat, flavorful gravy, and mashed potatoes.
STATS:
Each 9 oz. package is one serving which contains 220 calories with 50 calories from fat. There are six grams total fat, two and a half grams saturated fat, zero trans fat, one gram polyunsaturated fat, two grams monounsaturated fat, 30 mg. cholesterol, 640 mg. sodium, 1,100 mg. potassium, 25 grams total carbs, three grams dietary fiber, six grams sugars, and 16 grams protein. In addition, there are 4% (D.V.) each Vitamin A and Vitamin C, 6% Calcium, and 8% Iron. (Notice all that potassium, which the experts say is good for us.)
TASTE TIP:
The taste of Lean Cuisine Beef Portabello needed no help, but I complemented this entree with a bunch of lovely fresh red grapes to make this a satisfying meal.
