I'm writing about living in a very small town. There's only one small store. With only about 300 people living here. You would think the one store wouldn't gouge us with the price of things. Well they do. At Wal-mart I can get ice cream for $3.99 Well at the only store here we have to pay $5.49 So being that it's 30 miles to the Wal-mart I now take an ice chest. My point is we all live here together. If they want my business they need to treat us fair. I can see paying a higher price but $150 more pre gallon. Cut us some slack. We have to stick together here in this small town. I have a business here also. If one of my local neighbors needed my services I would cut them some slack. I rent cabins. If someone in my town needed one for personal reasons and came to me about it I would cut them some slack. And I have already done so before. We need to stick together here. When I moved back to the south from the west I thought it would be different here. Where did all the "good oh boys" go. I've always been a good oh boy. Oh to be young again. Not have to lock your doors, let your kids play outside until way past dark. I'm so glad I'm old. I grew up in the best years. I would never want to start over again. Growing up in the 50's and 60's was the best time ever.
