Snoogle Noodles

The LeachCo Snoogle Full Body Pillow is a strange bed fellow, the worst by far. I was 5 months pregnant when I received the Snoogle pillow as a sympathy gift from a friend...One would think this long, luxurious, 100% polyester filled pillow would make "night-life" a little sweeter, but Snoogle was banished from the bedroom in less then three weeks!

The LeachCo Snoogle pillow is 6 ½ feet long, 27 inches wide, and 6 inches fluffed. When tossed in a queen sized bed with two average people?! -All I can say is, what in the world were they thinking? The pillows long "slinky" design is supposed to drape lightly around your body and provide ample support, but it made me feel like I was trapped in a nightmarish pretzel! Five months pregnant...the "all hours" potty routine...and I'm tangled in a pillow struggling to get out!

Feeding & Washing Frenzy

After my daughters birth I tried using the pillow (as recommended) for nursing, and the entire experience was equally frustrating. The pillow had nearly two feet of overhang on either end. I caved and bought a Boppy instead... But I still clung to Snoogle, hoping to redeem the 50 dollars my friend had spent...

was able to use the Snoogle to surround my daughter while she was playing, and on rare occasions (before she could roll) I made barricades while she napped on our bed. Storage wasn't difficult, I just folded/rolled the noodle into threes, crammed it inside a king sized pillowcase, and tossed it in the attic.

Because of the Snoogles lengthy design, it easily fills standard washing machines. It's safe to put in there and it takes a good tumbling, but the removable pillow cover (if washed separately) has a tendency to draw up and shrink. Nothing like trying to stuff a 6 foot soggy noodle inside a 5 foot cotton sheath!

Sorry Snoogle, you were lousy in bed, which is why I refused to keep you!

Great review. Pity that the pillow wasn't as great.

Thanks for the point of view. I'm 25 weeks now and suffering from back aches in the morning. I thought about buying this but maybe I'll go for a different solution. Your really pretty btw!! You seem to be glowing in your pic.

HIlarious review. ;-) Sorry for your frustrations, though! Glad the pooch is happy with this misdirected product.

I had a body pillow too. I actually liked mine a lot. But, it was just a cheapy one from LInens and Things. :)
