We booked our stay at le Meridien through Priceline. The reviews were good, but it was our first experience booking through that site, so we weren't sure what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised! For a fabulous price, we had a luxurious hotel in a great location. It was a ten minute walk to l'Arc de Triomphe and easy to access le Metro through the shopping mall across the street. The employees were pleasant and polite, and the interior decor was phenomenal. The room and bathroom were small by American standards, but very spacious by European standards. We would not hesitate to stay there again.

Wow, AimeeJane, this sounds fantastic--it's good to know, too, that a site like priceline can be trustworthy. I'm definitly keeping this in my travel journal of "safe and great" places to stay!
