Le Creuset Traditional Stoneware Review Summary

"Who doesn't love nice pans?" That's what reviewers are asking as proof of why everyone should own a set of Le Creuset Traditional Stoneware. The best feature of this traditional stoneware is that it's an "all-in-one dish," meaning you can bake, slice, serve, and store all in this same piece of stoneware. La Creuset makes stoneware that is not only pretty and elegant, but durable too, as it comes in attractive colors to match any decor, yet is a non-porous stoneware resistant to chipping, cracking, and staining. Le Creuset Traditional Stoneware also provides for even cooking, resulting in "reduced oven times." It also makes a lasting gift that can be enjoyed for years to come. With quality such as this, the line can be pricey, but reviewers assure you it's worth it. With Le Creuset Traditional Stoneware you'll get "even baking, no fuss, and table-worthy." Compare this to other brands of stoneware.

My friend Ella turned me on to Le Creuset's Stoneware pieces several years ago and every since I have picked up pieces along the way. I have also outfitted her entire kitchen with pieces for bday presents, Christmas presents, etc. They are a lasting present that you can enjoy for years to come! Who doesnt love nice pans?

What I like most about Le Creuset's Stoneware pieces is that they are truly an All-in-One Dish - you can bake, slice, serve and store in it. And, as they say, "their classic design adds a distinctive charm to the table." They really do! Bright yellow, red and blue are among my favorites....

Love this brand, but hard to find good deals. The quality is high end, but, unfortunately, so is the price! Worth the effort to keep your eye out for sales!

looking for durability, a baker, a messy baker

When I moved I lost a lot of my kitchenware.  My sister took me shopping at a kitchen store to buy me a housewarming gift.  That gift turned out to be the Le Creuset Traditional Stoneware.  When I saw it I imagined all the great brownies and seven layer dips I would make in it.  I decided to get the Stoneware on my sisters recommendation in that she owns a few sets herself and loves them.

What I love about the Traditional Stoneware is how durable it is.  I don't feel like it's going to chip if it grazes another object.  It's hefty yet easy to pull in and out of the oven and cupboard.  It's...

I was a little hesitant to spend $30 on a baking pan, but La Creuset makes stoneware that is not only pretty and elegant, but durable too.  This is great for any casserole in the kitchen and works great.  Le Creuset's virtually non-porous stoneware is fired at 2156°, giving it unmatched strength and durability-and making it resistant to chipping, cracking and staining.  It is so easy to use because you can mix your ingredients in the dish, bake and serve.  If you have leftovers it isn't a problem because you can store the dish in the refrigerator or freezer.  The dish also works great for... review »

After a long day teaching in the classroom, I certainly don't feel like doing a sink full of dishes! With Le Creuset's stoneware, I don't have to use one dish to cook and another to serve because their dishes are so beautiful. What's more, the stoneware material is a breeze to clean, even simpler than any nonstick pan I have ever used! So not only do I save on dish-duty time, but I also feel like I am being pampered because the dish makes such a lovely presentation.

Another great benefit of Le Creuset stoneware is its durability. You can use it in the oven up to 500 degrees, so there is nothing...

This is a wonderful stoneware dish that you can use over and over again for all different types of things. I have made many different recipes and types of food in it. My favorite is making casseroles because its cooks them beautifully.  The stoneware technology is really amazing and you definately can tell the difference from a regular glass or metal dish.  There are so many different colors that you can find a perfect match for your kitchen.  I also love the different sizes and styles it comes in. I bought a round pie dish and let me tell you that it makes the BEST pie crust.  Another perk...

Le Creuset Stoneware is a must have for any kitchen and a great value. I wished I had registered for this cookware when I was getting married. It is durable easy to clean and looks great. Most importantly the baking dish allows for even heat distribution. This is essential for the seasoned cook and helpful for the beginners. In my opinion this stoneware has taken my kitchen from drab to fab! I am always receiving compliments on the looks of this product. If I had to think of anything negative it would be the weight of products. They are pretty heavy...small price to pay for cookware you are pretty...

I love my new red HUGE stoneware from Le Creuset!  It's quality is top-notch!  I love the even cooking and reduced oven times for these stoneware pots.  The coating is nice and slick.  Even baked-on food has trouble sticking!  My pot is large enough to cook 2 whole chickens in at once.  The lid is super-heavy and strong enough to seal the juices in the dinners.  The color is bright and stays bright through all the trips in and out of my oven.  My only negative comment is about the weight of the pot itself.  I know it needs to be heavy to cook evenly, but does it have to be SO heavy???

These are simply timeless. From soups to entrees even desserts, all the different utensils are available to the stoneware junkie. I love that they come in funky colors that you can choose from- showing your fun side in the kitchen. All utensils need not be gray and bland...come on!

Clean up with these are a breeze too. Just soak them in hot soapy water for a little while and clean them up to look brand as new.

I love my loafpans, casserole dishes etc that I have as they're so versatile.

They might be a bit pricey, but they'd outlast you. So, worth every dime.

Le Creuset's stoneware line of products can be used in the oven, microwave, refrigerator or even the freezer. All are great quality products which are sure to last many years with your family. This square casserole dish is the perfect size for many casseroles, or even brownies cooked in your oven. Don't be afriad to use this products as wear will not show.

i actually really like this stoneware kitchen. It bakes very good. The baking come out very easily. One of the problem is you have to be careful because it really hot when come out from the oven. I bought one before and i rinse with cold water right after and it shed into pieces. very easily to break. so be extra careful when using this product.

I really like this stoneware.  I love the color and that it has many uses. I can use it in the oven and then put it right on the table to serve in.  I like its durability as well, it is a very strong dish.  I love using stoneware in my kitchen for everything.

Le Creuset Traditional Cookware looks like it would be easy to clean.  I hate when things stick to the pots and pans, but this cookware looks like it would be easy to clean with maybe a little soaking.
