I recently found out by accident that Marshall's and TJ Maxx sell Le Creuset Stoneware. I went there looking for clothes and decided to browse randomly through the kitchen section and saw some sitting there. Now it's hit or miss as to what they will have, if anything at all, but what an awesome score! So far I have picked up three different types of stoneware and will grab more next time I see it. This stuff is amazing and beautiful. UPDATE: I have since picked up a few more pieces and am still extremely happy with it. It's incredibly durable and comes clean so easily without even having to put it in the dishwasher. Everything I have used it for has baked evenly and I love all the different shapes and sizes I can get it in. Will definitely pick up more any chance I can find it at a discount. Definitely a must have for anyone who bakes. Performance Love this stuff to death and I can't get enough. I wish I could have everything they make. From the smallest petite cups to the large casserole dishes they all perform so well. Ease of Cleaning Pretty easy to clean, but sometimes requires some soaking for the tough spots. A bit of soap and water usually does the trick though. Durability It is stoneware, not iron, and can break or chip but if you handle with care then you should have no problem. I have yet to have any issues with the pieces I have. Design BEAUTIFUL! I guess everyone has their preference as to design but I think these are gorgeous. Not only functional but look great too. I love the fact you can pull it straight from the oven and put it on the table and it makes a statement. I also love that you can get it in a variety of colors. Doesn't Stick No major problems with sticking.

I got a large stoneware set when my husband and I got married and I hated it so much, it was poor quality and was not what I had wanted. I went out and decided to buy the set that I had wanted, but it was sold out so I found this Le Creuset set and checked them out and found that they looked to be really nice quality. I like to use Stoneware when I cook a lot of foods, things just seem to cook better in it and it heats up far more evenly, keeping a lot of things that I used to overcook and burn, perfect. This set is super thick and very sturdily made. I have dropped these pans a few times and hoped they would not crack or break just to find them still in perfect condition with no breaks in them. The best thing about these for me is that I do not even have to grease them up at all, and nothing ever sticks to them, even after they have been used for years now. This makes these so easy to clean up after and makes getting food out of them nice and easy. These pans make baking anything from cake to a casserole easy and fun.

I have recently purchased some Le Creuset Stoneware products and have simply fallen in love with them. First and foremost I have never found any pots and pans or bakeware that cleans as easy as these Le Creuset Stoneware ones I have. No matter what you cook or bake in these pots and pans you can pretty much just wipe them out and there will be nothing sticking to the pans. I love the different bright colors they have as well. These pots and pans and bakeware are pretty pricey but well worth it. I found I saved so much time on cleaning and cooking and just seeing the nice colors brightened my day and what I used to consider a chore. I would certainly recommend that all of my friends and family purchase and try these Le Creuset Stoneware products even if you just start with one pan. I found that these pots and pans are very versatile and can be used to cook just about anything.

I have the two quart covered round casserole and the baked bean pot. I love it! It cooks evenly. Food doesn't burn. It's easy to clean. It keeps food hot much much longer than my other casserole dishes. Because of this, I use my Le Creuset when taking food to a potluck dinner or a friend's house. The high quality, thick stoneware is the key. I have other stoneware bakers that don't measure up to Le Creuset in the heat retention department. It is the premeire stoneware for baking. Performance Food cooks evenly and the dish holds heat much longer than other bakeware. Ease of Cleaning Even if food (cheese, cream sauce) sticks, a nylon scrubbie will remove it relatively easily. I mist mine with cooking spray before using. Durability This is very durable bakeware. I have dropped it a couple of times and it didn't even chip. Design The timeless, classic Le Creuset design never goes out of style. It comes in a wide variety of great colors. Doesn't Stick I suggest spraying it with Pam or other cooking spray.

I bought this baking pan in hopes it would serve an all purpose need for all my baking needs and it did just that! It is a pan that you can get to use for all kinds of dishes (lasagna, casseroles, etc...) and its not only non-stick but it cooks it all perfectly. Another thing about these pans though is that they are expensive but the great thing is they will literally last for years. We have all had pans that start to wear down after a few months or a few years but it can be expensive to keep buying good sets but the great thing is once you buy this set that is all you will need. Also they come in all types of cool colors so not only will you get great pans but they can really spice up your kitchen and your overall look if you are trying to keep a theme. I would definitely recommend this over cheaper baking pans because those will probably chip or get worn after a little while but this has held up very nicely and will continue to do so! Great buy!!! Performance Works great and fits all my needs for baking! Ease of Cleaning Non-stick so easy to clean. Design Looks great!

I own a number of pieces of Le Creuset enameled cast iron. Over the years they've served me well. But as a baby-boomer I've noticed their weight increasingly these days. I also noticed that I'm much less willing to part with the money necessary to purchase new pieces. About a year ago I purchased my first piece of Le Creuset Stoneware, a 9" x 12" x 3.5" rectangular roasting pan. While it is very similar to my 9" x 13" enameled cast iron piece, I found it considerably lighter and an order of magnitude less costly. I really like both of these attributes. Performance In general I see no material difference between the cooking performance of the stoneware and cast iron pieces. Both are excellent for distributing and retaining heat while in use. Ease of Cleaning I find the porcelain glaze very easy to clean whether by hand or in my dishwasher. Use of a small amount of non-stick spray makes hand-washing extremely easy. Durability While I've had no problems to date you have to remember that this is stoneware. Drop it and it shatters. My cast iron LeCreuset may chip but it has never shattered. I've also read reports of this line of LeCreuset cracking in the oven. Again, I've had no such experience, but still, it's something to be aware of. Design LeCreuset Stoneware takes its styling cues from their Enameled Cast Iron pieces. I love the look. Stylish but extremely functional. Doesn't Stick The glaze used is pretty resistant to sticking, but I find a little non-stick spray before use really completes the job.

My husband surprised me with the first item in our collection of Le Creuset stoneware. We decided to make the switch after trying 2 ceramic hand painted dish sets from Bed Bath and Beyond and just not being satisfied with them. I want dishes that I cna use and use and use and not worry about how quickly I need to replace them. The honeypot comes with a silicone dauber (so cute) and fits an entire jar of honey. If you have an ant problem and you are concerned about the lack of airtight lid, you could easily put a little press and seal under the lid to seal everything out. Performance Great!! Ease of Cleaning Dishwasher. Durability As all Le Creuset. However, I did see one in a store where the lid had been dropped and was chipped a few times. So maybe be careful with the lid on the tile and wood floors. Design So adorable and a lip around the top to cradle the lid and catch any honey drips. Doesn't Stick Well honey sticks so....

What I like most about **Le Creuset's Stoneware** pieces is that they are truly an All-in-One Dish - you can bake, slice, serve and store in it. And, as they say, "their classic design adds a distinctive charm to the table." They really do! Bright yellow, red and blue are among my favorites. I also recently took a cooking class and they were the only pots we used. They were durable, heated evenly and very easy to clean.**Le Creuset Baking Dishes** offers a variety of shapes and sizes to accommodate any menu item. Some of the ones I have are ideal for: Marinating meat, making a casserole, preparing a stew, baking a dessert or simply storing left overs.   I am a big fan of **Le Creuset**. I am all about convenience and these pans are nothing less than totally convenient! p.s. On a tip from a friend,  I have picked up a few **Le Creuset** at Marshalls or T.J. Maxx. They also have an outlet that I found in WI. Performance Love that the Le Creuset pans can go from oven to table top. They look nice, heat evenly and are generally easy to clean. Note- you should never put cold water on the hot ceramic pan. It could crack. Ease of Cleaning Generally, the Le Creuset pans are really easy to clean. I always hand wash them. I never put them in my dishwasher. Durability My pans have held up well over time. After several years, I remain really happen with them (writing this as of January 2012) Design The design is simple, classic and colorful. I love that the pans come in several bright colors. I currently own red and blue and I love both. Doesn't Stick Sticking can definitely happen in the Le Creuset. It is not a non-stick surface.

When I moved I lost a lot of my kitchenware.  My sister took me shopping at a kitchen store to buy me a housewarming gift.  That gift turned out to be the **Le Creuset Traditional Stoneware.**  When I saw it I imagined all the great brownies and seven layer dips I would make in it.  I decided to get the **Stoneware** on my sisters recommendation in that she owns a few sets herself and loves them. What I love about the **Traditional Stoneware** is how durable it is.  I don't feel like it's going to chip if it grazes another object.  It's hefty yet easy to pull in and out of the oven and cupboard.  It's super durable, resists chips and stains and doesn't absorb odors or flavors.  My **Traditional Stoneware** is a great red color that spices up the dinner table and elevates the need to put it in a nicer dish for serving.  The **Le Creuset Traditional Stoneware **is a bit pricey, but well worth it's weight and will last you a long time with lots of cooking joy included! The **Traditional Stoneware** is a great addition to any kitchen for use at home at potlucks or on picnics.
