I recently purchased a Le Creuset 11 3/4" cast iron skillet after wearing out our Calphon pans after many years of use. We wanted something without that was not non-stick because of health concerns about the non stick materials flaking off into the food. I bought this pan and a Danmeyere frying pan at Sur La Table thinking that I would test the two and which ever I liked best, I would buy a whole set.
