Le Creuset 1.5 Quart Casserole Dish and LId Review

The Le Creuset Casserole Dish was a housewarming gift from my sister.  This bad boy takes care of all my baking needs!  It's great for cooking veggies, casseroles and anything else you can think of, even desserts!

The label says the Le Creuset Casserole Dish can go from freezer to oven although it then says not to put a frozen dish in a pre-heated oven.  I just don't think I'll be putting this in the freezer, no need for that.  With the lid that comes along with it I was able to use this dish to store leftovers in.  

The great thing about the Le Creuset Casserole Dish, besides it's versatility, is it's heavy duty resistance to chips and stains and doesn't absorb smells or flavors.  Nothing worse than a lingering odor!  The dish comes in fun festive colors, mine is red, that makes it nice to go from the oven to the dinner table!  At a kitchen store this hefty dish has a hefty price of $60, but is worth it in the long run as you will have years and years of enjoyable use of the Le Creuset Casserole Dish.
