Before we leave the subject of marinades, Lawry's also produces a superb Louisiana Red Pepper 30 minute marinade that features Tabasco Brand Seasonings for those time when you need things just a little bit hotter.

Lawry's Louisiana Red Pepper with Lemon Juice 30 Minute Marinade
Lawry's tells you that this marinade is excellent on beef, pork, chicken, seafood and vegetables.

Me? I like to reserve it for chicken. It's great on chicken breasts and it produces some screaming Buffalo Wings. As with all Lawry 30 Minute marinades it works in as little as...you guessed it, 30 minutes. Personally, when I use it on Chicken I like to leave it marinade for about twice as long. I figure if I'm going to cry while eating it I might as well cry real tears. Your taste may vary.

Crazy Buffalo Wings
When I'm in the mood for some really blistering Buffalo Wings, I let the sit in the marinade for a full hour before I sheet the wings and put them into a 450 degree oven. But before they see the oven I pour another 12 oz. bottle over the wings and I let them bake until they are done and tender.

Served with a chilled Bleu Cheese dressing (Marie's Super Chunky comes to mind), they're a perfect quick prep treat either as a dinner or a mid-day meal during the NFL season.

At just over $4 a bottle Lawry's Louisiana Red Pepper with Lemon Juice 30 Minute Marinade gives you that little bit more when it comes to heat. Available almost everywhere, I highly recommend it.

I have been looking for these in the stores here, and can't find them yet. It's disappointing because I got a set of 3 from bzzagent.com and fell in love with them, they are so easy to use for cooking.
