Anyone who has read my review of Lawry's Seasoned Salt ("God is in the Details!) a few months ago probably has guessed that I enjoy food, especially that which is flavorful and delicious. A lot of us who feel that way wonder what we would have done without Lawry's famous signature salt and now here is something else to get perked up about ... Lawry's Coarse Ground Garlic Salt with Parsley, a blend of coarse garlic salt and tiny dehydrated parsley flakes combined with teeny-weeny amounts of sugar and various oils,
STATS:
A 1/4 teaspoon single serving contains zero calories, fat, total carbs, and proteins plus 240 mg. sodium (which is not bad at all compared to the 590 mg. sodium in 1/4 teaspoon of regular Morton's Salt). Here's the really good news about Lawry's Coarse Garlic Salt with Parsley -- this product is so flavorful and delicious that very often it takes far less than 1/4 tsp. to do the job of enhancing the flavor of foods.
TASTE TIP:
Lawry's Coarse Garlic Salt with Parsley was designed to pick up where the original Lawry's Seasoned Salt left off -- as a seasoning for hot pasta, roast chicken, baked fish, steamed vegetables, soups and ragouts. A sprinkle of this combined with a dash of freshly ground Parmesan cheese and a thin spread of butter or margarine transforms ordinary whole grain toast into garlic bread after a few seconds in the microwave. Compared to McCormick's, this seasoning is economically priced at $3.59 for an 11 oz. bottle which will really last a long time.
