Law and Order: SVU Review Summary
Fans just Law & Order: Special Victims Unit to be the best Law & Order overall, and state they "can't get enough of it." While "the storylines can be so awful and just disturbing on so many levels, what makes this show so great is the obvious dedication these detectives have." Also appreciated is the fantastic cast of Christopher Meloni, Mariska Hargitay, Richard Belzer, and Ice-T. Viewers like to unfold "the mystery alongside the detectives," and love the topics Law & Order: Special Victims Unit cover, as they deal with everyday problems regarding abuse, yet with a new twist each time. In the opinion of reviewers, this is "drama at its best."

I am such a big fan of Law and Order: SVU. I love tuning in weekly on NBC 10, and, on many occasions daily on USA to see this exciting, informative crime drama that simulates cases that we see in our local newspapers or on the news. I especially like that when I turn on SVU I will see the characters I have come to know and love.
Though most of the subject matter deals with some sort of sex crime, it is totally believable, if sometimes sad, because it depicts exactly what is going on in our society. I can't count how many episodes I've seen that reminded me of something I saw on...

law in order special victuims unit is a heartfelt drama! Its based on the story's of the new york city special victuims unit. the detectives invesigate sexually based crimes, the show is in its 11th season. the show is full of drama and it will make your heart and jaw drop! the show got 4 emmy naminations i think thats enough said about the show, its a great show!! it also makes see what special victum unit go though and have to deal with! it makes you feel for the victums and detectives. you get to look into what they do on a daily bases.they show has amazing storys, when its over it leaves you...

Law and Order: SVU is one of the best shows out there right now. It has all you need in a show! There is the crime, that the actual shows revolve around, without that there would be no show. Then the cast of the various personalities is what really brings the show to its peak. You couldn't just throw anyone onto the set and expect it to be a hit. law and order svu is the greatest television show on tv. there are always cases that appeal to everyone. Lots of great actors appear on the show, Robin williams even played a crazy person. Great story lines in every episode, some even resemble true stories that have happened. I grew up watching this with my grandparents and they got me hooked and now i have my husband hooked on this show. i love the marathons they run on usa during the day. Not all episodes have great endings but thats life and it cant always be fairy tales. you should definately check this show out
This show is definitely for a mature crowd, as it has content that is sexual and/or violent in nature, but 18 and up will definitely enjoy watching Benson, Stabler, Finn, and Munch capture the bad guys :)
