Comments about Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer SPF 20 Illuminating:

Received in sample size and went back to order it in full size because WOW. This makes my skin radiate. I hadn't tried tinted moisturizers until I discovered Laura Mercier products and I think I will stick with hers because they are the best. It gives my skin a flawless finish but without the cakey, heavy feeling foundation can sometimes give. plus SPF, can't go wrong!

Full coverage but lighter than foundation u

Comments about Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer SPF 20 Illuminating:

This is one of the best tinted moisturizers that I have ever tried! I went with the "nude" shade and it was a little dark for my skin but I was able to blend it with my neck to make it look more natural so it is a very blend-able tinted moisturizer. The coverage is also very good. It covers most flaws like freckles, pimples and redness. The coverage is also very build-able as I added multiple layers of the tinted moisturizer and then I put on powder foundation on top of it. Some of my complaints: it settles a little bit into creases in wrinkles which is very unflattering. Another problem is its very little staying power and it makes skin really oily. I did the phototest with this on and when the flash was used there was a huge glare so if that is a problem for you then this is not the product you want to use. In my opinion the positives outweigh the negatives and I would recommend this tinted moisturizer.

Not good for oily skin

Comments about Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer SPF 20 Illuminating:

I really made a mistake buying this product. I wasn't thinking correctly and grabbed this one instead of the oil free moisturizer. This is an illuminating moisturizer which adds shine and glimmer (radiance) to your skin. I have oily skin so obviously this was not what I was going for. I ended up looking like a grease ball for the rest of the day. However, I will say that if you have dry skin, you should buy this. It would make dull skin look alive. I think it would be great for summer or winter. In the summer it would give you a great glimmer and in the winter it could brighten up dull skin. They don't offer a lot of color choices. I know that it's a tinted moisturizer so there's a lot of room to give but they should offer a wider range for people of different color. This product smells really good too. It is a little bit expensive but they do give you a lot! It will last you a very long time so it's worth the money.

Not for those with problem skin

Comments about Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer SPF 20 Illuminating:

So, this is really for a specific type of skin - skin that is very, very even to begin with. Mostly this illuminates, which unfortunately highlights any pumps or uneven areas. When used with other products, this can be a good highlighter (and also works well on the eye area to highlight, or the body - extra bonuses!) but this does not do much to hide imperfections. I have never found Laura Mercier's tinted moisturizers to provide all that much moisture, either, unfortunately. You will definitely need to apply moisture (and potentially a primer) underneath this. However this can be really pretty on those of you who have the skin for it! It gives a great subtle shimmer! I have ended up only really using it as a highlighter on my brown bone, body, and occasionally around my face (not all over) since I sadly have problem spots on my skin.

Just right

Comments about Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer SPF 20 Illuminating:

This tinted moisturizer from Laura Mercier is amazing, and I have fallen in love with it! The illuminating factor leaves your skin glowing, but without looking greasy or glittery. Just the right amount of illumination. The coverage is light and once again, just right for summer time or those of us who don't want a caked-on overly made up feel. My skin is left smooth and soft after removing the moisturizer. And, this moisturizer has SPF 20, so it's perfect for daytime and defending skin against any harmful sun rays. The one drawback to this product? It is expensive, in my opinion. I am still using a deluxe sample and am not sure I'll have the money to spare to buy a full-sized tube. It is a great tinted moisturizer that performs well, so it is worth a splurge if possible. The moisturizer rubs in easily to skin and blends well. This color, Bare Radiance, is appropriately named. Aside from the price, wonderful product!
