The following comments apply to the wide range of Laura Mercier make-up brushes which are available for specific uses / purposes.  I never used to apply makeup with brushes, but I have found you really do have much better control over your eye shadows, eye liner, blush, etc. than you ever get with the foam applicators, etc.  Initially I was a little turned off by the price of her brushes, but after buying a couple different ones, I am totally sold.  You can tell the difference immediately between the lower quality, drugstore variety brushes.  These goodies are highest quality and will last you for years, with proper care.  I am now the owner of quite a few of these indispensable little items!  Hint:  if the price at the cosmetic counter is a little out of your range, try looking at online auctions, sometimes you can find some really good deals.
