This little Lasko Mini Space Heater Is Very Powerful

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

Over this past winter I wanted a little extra heat in my bathroom. I saw this Lasko Mini Space Heater when I was out shopping and decided to give it a try. The model number is 5429. I didn't expect it to be too much of a heater but I knew it would be good enough to heat up a small bathroom for taking showers or getting ready in the mornings. Wow, was I wrong about it not being very powerful! I turned this heater on low and couldn't believe the amount of heat that it actually put out. The high setting was even more impressive. I like how it also has a fan setting also if you don't want to use any heat. I turned it on low and my bathroom was hot within 5 min's. To be small it is still ...

Just the right amount of heat output for a small room

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

My home office is by far the coldest room in the house.  Despite a mostly open floor floor plan, that area never seems warm, starting in the fall and straight through to spring with winter being almost unbearable!  For reasons known only to the builders, there are no heat vents in that area so bringing in an alternate heat source was the only solution.  I purchased the Lasko Mini Space Heater primarily because it was the least expensive one available the day I went to the store.  It's small so i was skeptical.  I position it in a short table near my desk and I have to say, it puts out a more than adequate amount of heat.  It's perfect for what I purchased i...

minimum size, maximum heat... quickly dispersed

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

I got my mini Lasko space heater 7 years ago at our local Wal-mart...  I was living in a (not very well insulated) motor home at the time, up here in the White Mountains of Arizona. That winter saw many nights where the temperature dropped below zero...One night it was 16 degrees below zero!  That little Lasko kept that old Winnebago, myself, and my dog, warm in those days.

Since then, I have lived in 4 different houses up here in the White Mountains.  The Lasko has been moved, bumped around, shoved around, used as a fan in the summer, and it still works great.  I've used it to heat rooms and hallways in all of the houses I've lived in.

I ...

Heater Heaven

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

Recently my neighbor was throwng one of these away. Can you imagine.Timing was perfect our little heater had gone out in Bathroom and was ready to go shopping. So we plugged her in an it works ten times better than old one. It's energy efficient to boot. The Oscillating movement my boyfriend decided can even keep the bathtub warm so add less hot water for bath.I recently checked out price at Menards and Lowes and found this to be quite affordable for a luxery to warm up the bathroom on cold mornings.I call it a luxery since no heat in bathroom. It is easily moved to anywhere you need it as well as safe to use on counters.Comes in different colors to match decor. In summer when you don't need store...

Great little heater

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

We've had this little Lasko heater for a number of years and this winter it has found a permanent place in our bathroom. Each morning when I get up to shower and get ready for work the first thing I do is switch this heater on so that when I get out of the shower our little master bathroom is warmed up. I like the flexibility that it offers with the oscillating feature and temperature control. It's small size also allows you to easily move it from room to room and set it on the floor or up higher on a counter top if needed.

We have also used it in the past to help warm up our children's bed room before bedtime, so it does have a decent amount of output for a larger sized bedroom. We only run it for brief periods because it is not a replacement for our central heat in the house and is expensive to run an electric heater all day long - but when you need a little boost of warm air (or if we had any furnace issues) I am glad we have this heater.

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

I absolutely love this mini portable space heater. I got it last year and have yet to have any problems with it. Of course it is that time of year yet again, when it gets chilly at night, but still nice during the day.                                                                                                             I turn the heater on for maybe 3 mins and my room is nice and toasty. I love the oscilating featur...

Lasko 5429 Oscillating Ceramic Heater with Adjustable is nice

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

The Lasko 5429 Oscillating Ceramic Heater with Adjustable Thermostat  is a very very nice unit.  I bought mine about three to four weeks ago and have been more than satified with the results i have gotten with it.  If you are looking for a oscillating ceraamic heater with and adjustable thermostat, that i have to say you should definetly check out the Lasko 5429 Oscillating Ceramic Heater with Adjustable Thermostat.   It is a great machine.  It has kept me warm on many cold nights.  My bedroom is in desparate need of better insulation, but i have not had the time to do so, so the Lasko 5429 Oscillating Ceramic Heater with Adjustable Thermostat was my temporary fix.  I first became aware of the Lasko 5429 Oscillating Ceramic Heater with Adjustable Thermostat when reading reviews of this oscillating ceramic heater with an adjustable thermostat when on another website.  They all spoke very highly of it so tried it.

small in size, but not in performance!

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

Poor insulation and the need for extra heat caused to me look into space heaters.  Finding the Lasko Mini Heater turned out to be my lucky day! It heats up the whole room where I'm sitting and makes it very comfortably warm.  It heats up quickly, and I love the oscillating feature!

Great Little Heater

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

This is great compact heater that throws off a lot of heat. It draws 1500 watts on high and 900 watts on low. One big advantage of this heatetr over the Lasko tower type heaters is that this one blows the heatedd air close to the floor so you don't wind up with cold feet. I use it to heat a small workshop inthe basement and it doews a great job.

This heater is hot!!!

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

This heater has very clean lines. It looks as well as it works. Its digital thermostat is acurate and it's output is supurb. I have two of them and use them regularly. I love the 'hot ' sensor and the fact that if it is tipped or moved it shuts off.

Great little heater!

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

I bought two of these Lasko heaters on sale at Target..... they are great little heaters! It has an auto shut-off and the option to run fan only..... also adjustable thermostat..... I actually had to get up and turn it down before it reached the temperature setting because I got too warm. I have exposed brick walls that run the length of my apartment and it gets pretty cold in here during the winter. With the cost of utilities, I was looking for ways to cut down.... 68-70 degrees is still cool in my apartment so heaters are a big help..... Love them!
