We've had this Lasko Ceramic Elements tower heater for about 3 years now, and so far we are very pleased with its' performance.  This portable Lasko Ceramic Elements heater heats any room within minutes, and it also comes with the functions to raise or lower its' temperature.  We've had to move it to various locations in our home, so the fact that it always stays cool to the touch (no matter how long it's been running) has been a very important asset.  The Lasko Ceramic Elements heaters also oscillates to help spread the heat evenly through-out your space, and best of all it's very 'affordable', I  think we paid less than $50.00 for it.
