Great product that has a remote control and a safety switch.

I purchased this heater a few years ago from Sam's Club (although it can be found in other stores). It is reasonable priced (under $100), The main reason I bought this particular heater is because of the safety switch on the bottom of it. The heater won't turn on if it isn't sitting level and will automatically turn off if it either begins to tilt or falls over. This is an excellent safety feature. Also this ceramic heater, on any heat setting-which you can customize yourself, down to the exact tempature you want it to be, the exterior does not get hot to where you'd get burned if touched... review »

Really puts out the heat, love the remote control!

Love the fact that this littly puppy puts out some intense heat. I've used it for over a year with no complaints. I use it in a very drafty (12 foot ceilings) computer room and it keeps me more than toasty. It swivels to evenly distribute the heat and comes with a handy remote control that makes operating it a breeze. It's also got a built in digital thermostat that will allow you to set a desired temp and the space heater turns itself off when it reaches that temperature. Love this thing!

The Lasko heater is a miracle. We bought several other heaters and finally settled on this one. It easily heats our larger rooms and I don't have to worry about it burning the kids. It gets hot as soon as you turn it on. The temperature setting is awesome, no more getting up in the middle of the night to turn it on or off. I love the low high settings too. The fan blows heat all around the room so its not just heating one spot. We bought several and heat our whole house with them and they aren't bad on the electric bill either. I love this little space heater!

The Lasko Ceramic Air Heater #5532 has been a real asset in my home. It's compact but very powerful with 11 heat settings and two fan speeds. The oscillation feature can be turned on to distribute heat around the room or off to point heat in one direction. It also has an automatic shut off in case it should get tipped over. Although it was inexpensive, I'm very impressed by how well it works. I highly recommend it to anyone who needs an occasional boost in heat in a particular room or area.

Not sure that I have the wall mounted model, but it looks exactly the same. It's a good value to help save on oil costs which we could all use these days. I keep my furnace at 66 and just use the ceramic heater in the livingroom when it gets too chilly.

This ceramic heater is very quiet, provides ample heat, has a 1-8 hour timer, and a small economical footprint. It is cool to the touch. The oscillating feature helps distribute the heat throughout the area. And the remote control is a handy extra.

I have this in my daughers room not only is it a good heater but has plenty of safety features if its knocked over it automatically shuts off. Great Sleek design, I found that it warms the room almost in know time. I do wish theyre were more colors available.
