Pros

    Lots of stuff to see

Cons
    the trashy photos on the streets, can lose a lot of money gambling

We spent four days in Vegas during Dec. 2007.  We stayed at the Riveria.  It was outdated.  The elevators did not work.  The only pro was the wonderful service by the bellhop Mike.  He was helpful and offered wonderful advice.  The town itself was not family friendly.  It would probably be a wonderful place to play if you were 21 and without responsibilities.
