What is there to like about Las Vegas?
Everything!!!!!! I absolutely LOVE Las Vegas, the Strip, the gambling, nightclubs, elegant quiet evening dining, sight seeing, the stars, the fabulous shows and everything else that goes along with it!!! There are entrance signs at both ends of The Strip that reads; "Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas". And TRUST ME, THEY DO MEAN FABULOUS!!!
I've been there several times, and plan to go back there sometime next year in the spring!! You can come here and just do whatever you want to and at your own leisure!! Everything humanly possible and imaginable, every conceivable aspet of this place makes you just want to get out here and enjoy all of the fun. For the most adventurous and wonderful times of your life. Makes you just want to melt!! You and the kids will have a ball!!!
The Strip:
This street is without a doubt, the most elaborate part - the signature centerpiece component of all of Sin City!! The main street where the bulk of the action is!!
Everything imaginable, all or most of the famous posh monster hotel chains with their fabulous monster casinos, amusements such as their monster roller coasters and posh monster restaurants line up along this seemingly endless but fabulous world-renouned pulse-pounding street!!
I've been to places like Georgia, California, South Carolina, Florida, Disenyland and Hawaii, but I'm sorry, even though they are great places to visit as well, they've got absolutely NOTHING on Las Vegas!! Whenever I come here, I feel right at home!!! This place makes me feel like it's my 2nd home!! It's all here in one.....big......extravigant location for you to have and enjoy. The Strip, the stars, the fabulous shows, the entertainment, the elegant posh hotels, the fabulous monster casinos, the amusement parks, the monster roller coasters, the Elvis impersonators, the fun, the great buffet restaurants, the glitter, the glamorous lights at night, That great orange glow in the Western sky as the sun sets it's all here for great fun-loving pleasure for all to enjoy!!
Eateries Galore!!
You are never too far, or more than a short walk from a restaurant! Whether it's just a quick afternoon small meal, a ten-course buffet meal or quiet evening dining for you and the kids at a posh steakhouse, you'll NEVER have to worry about ever going hungry here!! Even if you do nothing else here but eat, you're doing something!!
You'll find great foods here from ALL fablulous nationalities and ethnics: French, Indian, Chinese, Polynesisn, Italian, Spanish / Puerto Rican, Portuguese, African, Soul Food, Mid Eastern, Greek, Carribean, West Indian and plain good old American food!!
Most of the posh monster hotels here have one or more buffet restaurants for the budget-minded where you can eat to your heart's content for just one admission price for each person. The kids will absolutley LOVE this!!
Steakhouse Madness!!!
You and the kids will just take great extreme pleasure in dining at some of these restaurants! There are a whole SLEW of them featured in most of the elegant posh hotels! Ideal for excellent elegant quiet evening dining for you and the kids!! Wine and dine at some of these places for the very ultimate in elegant quiet evening dining pleasure.
Excaliber Hotel, for instance, has Camelot Steakhouse, a very quiet and elegant place that has a lovely subtle dimly-lit restaurant with big comfy posh high-back benches and big elegant cloth-covered tables and soft music to sooth the atmosphere and dining pleasure!
The chef will come out from the kitchen to your table to greet and welcome you. He will introduce you to some of the finest steaks, baked chicken, seafood and deletable side dishes the restaurant has to offer. A friend and I won a certificate at a night club to dine there. And oh my stars, the fillet mignon was so tender, moist and juicy!! I had a sample plate that came with the baked chicken fillet mignon and some broiled scallops and a few sides of veggies. My friend had Prime Rib of Beef. The food was oh, so good!! I'd gladly go back there again for some more quiet elegant evening dining!!
Hotels;
Every swank hotel chain imaginable is here!!
Golden Nugget, 4 Queens, Stratosphere, Sahara, Santa Fe, Stardust, Las Vegas Hilton, Dessert Inn, Fronteer, Aladin, Circus Circus, Hanah's, New York New York, Riviara, Flamingo, MGM Grand, Monte Carlo, Treasure Island, Balley's, The Mirage, Bellagio, Ceasar's Palace, Wynn Las Vegas, Venitian, Paris, Tropicana, Excaliber, Luxor and Mandalay Bay.
Why be frightened by the thought of terrorists in another country?! Stay at or visit one of the posh hotels here like Venitian, Sahara, Mandalay Bay, Paris, Luxor, Treasure Island or the Mirage, and you'll FEEL like you're in the exotic atmosphere of another country!! These hotels all have that distinctive and fabulous old flavor of Itay, Paris, Rome and the Mediterainian Islands as well as Africa!!
Mandaly Bay has it's own "beach" where you can relax, bask in the warm sun on lazy mornings or afternoons, as though you're at the beach at Hawaii!! Venitian has the old flavorfull Italian waterway complete with boat rides!! Paris has a nini replica of the Eifel Tower. And like the real one in France, you can go to the top of this one as well and look down!! Sahara is based on a theme from the African Sahara Dessert!
Luxor has that unmistakable pyramid shape that no other hotel here has! It has sort of a mini King Tutt Musem. Its most noted feature, the centerpiece component of all is that dazzling powerful white beam of light emitted from the top of the building that pierces the night sky each and every night!! It can even be seen by airline pilots and passengers on the planes that in the air!!
Plus there are the lower-priced budget hotels like Alexus Park, Terribles, Crown Plaza, Amerisuits and Hard Rock.
Then there are the really cheap hotels for people on a shoestring budget. So, there really IS NO excuse for you to not come here to visit.
You can eat, get entertained, have some fun, gamble and club ALL......NIGHT.......LONG!!!! Party to your heart's content!!
Other Stuff;
Take the kids to Bonnie Springs for a fun warm sunny afternoon day trip where they can see the live animals, Old Western shows and enjoy nature, as well as dine in the restaurant there!! On the way back from there, let them stop by and enjoy Red Rock Canyon State park for extreme nature at its finest!!
One of the kids whom I tutor at school - my little buddy, likes to read about science, nature and animals. He would LOVE this place!!
Walk or leisurely stroll along the Strip on warm sunny mornings or afternoons and see some of the many exciting things the Strip has to offer!!
During the daylight hours, the Strip and all it has to offer is hot enough. But when the sun begins to set in the Western sky and gives it that stunning beautiful glowing orange color like nothing that you've ever experienced before, and the bright colorful lights come on and light up the Strip, that signifies that the action is about to heat up even more, as more tourists and their families are about to come out to "invade" the Strip, eat, get entertained and play for more great fun-loving entertainment and pleasure!! They really love to come out and play!!
Several of the hotels have their own outdoor amusement parks. Circus Circus has it's very own indoor small indoor arena and its own indoor theme park!! The theme park is even tall enough that it houses a double-loop roller coaster and a waterboat ride!!
Geared and engineered mainly to satisfy, please and entertain young small children, this hotel has it all for the kids to take great pleasure and pride in getting entertained!! There's even a McDonald's restaurant inside there where the kids can dine at their leisure!
At the extreme north end of the Strip, there's Freemont Experience. This is said to be where the entertainment began many, many, many great years ago! You just have to SEE this part of the Strip also!!!
It's a smaller enchanted place of sorts, smaller than the Strip with less hustle and bustle, but it's a place where, on warm sunny mid-afternoons, it just takes your breath away!! Four Queens and the Golden Nugget Hotels are the amazingly great old-time favorites here, and even today, they remain just as wildly popular and fast-paced as ever!! There is no traffic allowed on the street - giving you completed and unlimited walking pleasure!!
Enjoy quiet peaceful tranquility with soft backgroound music!! A latticework canopy covers the carless boulavaud. At night, this thing lights up with flashing colorful neon lights almost like Christmas!
A little bit less noise, hussle and bustle than the Strip, but just as enjoyable. Enjoy the small shops and have a late afternoon snack, coffee, tea, or a light meal. Or just sit and listen to the peaceful soft quiet music! Tranquility at its best!! Let this gem of an oasis combined with a lazy late warm sunny afternoon visit put you into another world - a soothing calming and ralaxing one that you'll NEVER forget and will want to treasure forever!! It and the rest of Las Vegas is like no other place you'll ever have more fun at!!
You ABSOLUTELY MUST get out here and get a taste of the fun and entertainment, and joy at its very absolute best!! For the most enjoyous wonderful times of yours and the kids' lives!!! You and the kids will be just like a kid in a candy store!!!
