There's newer and glitzier hotels in Acapulco, but for sheer character and over-the-top exuberance when it comes to matters of privacy and romance, there is just no beating the Brisas. It's usually pretty pricey to book a room here, but if you really want quality time for just the two of you, then this is the place!

What makes the Brisas so unusual is that instead of predictable box rooms in a high rise box on the beach, you get private little cottages, gently scattered across a rolling hillscape looking over the Acapulco Bay.
