Lars and The Real Girl was not a typical movie by any means. The story was not at all realistic, but as soon as I put that aside I was able to enjoy the movie. Ryan Gosling was excellent in this film. He made the plight of Lars very personal. Over all I probably wouldn't watch this again, but it was still a good movie.
