Laplink Software Software PCmover Essentials (PAFGPCMV02000PDRTPEN) for PC Review

I bought this (at about half price $25) from Dell when I purchased my new desktop.  I went from Windows XP (old pc) to Windows Vista (new pc).  The software is easy to install and easy to use.  However, I had to undo a few migrations as it moved items I didn't want. 

 You can check the items you want to move (applications and files), but it seems to grab things even though you don't check them for the move.  

 Some of the applications wouldn't work in the new Vista Environment, but I guess that's to be expected.  Just another way for Microsoft and other software providers to make more $$$$.....

All in all simple to use.
