My lactation consultant had recommended this product to me during my first time breastfeeding my son. I would never breastfeed another baby without this product. Not only did it heal my already sore/cracked nipples it prevented that from happening again. This product is wonderful. I love that you don't have to worry about taking it off to feed your baby. It is completely safe to have on during a feeding. While I agree it can be a pain to get out of the tube it really is a blessing to have on hand. A little goes a long way so the cost is not bad considering how long a tube will last you. I have found other uses for this as well. I use this for chapped lips/cheeks and chins when my son is teething. It really help protect his skin from all the drooling. This also works extremely well as a diaper cream. My son typically gets diaper rash when he is cutting teeth. At the first sign of the rash I apply the Lansinoh Cream and it clears it right up. There are so many ways to really use this product so I can't imagine not having it on hand.
