I love L.L. Bean, but a lot of their clothing is designed for serious, New England winters spent hiking, skiing and snow-shoeing. When I lived in Vermont, that was fine. Now that I live in San Francisco, I don't really need goosedown mittens tested to -32f. I do, however, still love to shop. Being a plus-sized woman can make finding high quality, good-looking, affordable outerwear difficult. Enter Land's End. Their clothing isn't as rugged as L.L. Land's End is my favorite clothing to wear. I have purchased everything from swimsuits to raincoats to socks and shoes and underwear. And believe me, wash after wash it all holds up just like it did when I bought it. I have several long sleeve cotton shirts that I have had for a few years. Each time I wear them if I get warm, I push the sleeves up. Later on in the day as it cools off and I want the sleeves pulled back down, they go right back to my wrist and fit perfectly. Ever since my son was born, I have ordered his clothes from Lands End. He is now 13. He is a little big around the middle so he has to wear Husky sizes and Land's End is the only place I go.
They have a 100% no questions asked money back guarantee that never ends. I had to use it twice due to my son's knees ripping out. I purchased two long-sleeved thermal shirts from Land's End in a cream color and a dark olive green. They washed well and kept their shape.
They were not on sale the day I was there, but I had been looking for thermal shirts that were made of thicker cotton and couldn't find any, so I paid full price for them. Since they meet my criteria I put aside my typical "they must be on sale" slogan and I have no regrets, they are very comfortable and of the quality I look for in clothing.
I am glad I walked out of the store in the direction I did or I would have missed them.

I love Lands End. I have never had anything but great customer service. I exclusively shop there for winter coats( it gets cold in Minnesota) and winter boots. I also exclusively shop here for backpacks. I received 3 free backpacks this year and I still purchased my Kindergartners backpack from LandsEnd. I know from pervious experience that her backpack will last. I went through 4 backpacks from a discount store with my 5th grader until I found LandsEnd backpacks. My 5th grader has had the same backpack for the last 4 years and it still looks great.

Lands End has good quality clothes. However if you order something and it ends up on back order, CANCEL YOUR ORDER AND WAIT UNTIL ITS IN STOCK!
Lands End charged me for a backordered item before they shipped it. When I called them on their behavior Lands End said " oh we got busy with alot of orders and it was days later before we shipped your item." Then why did they charge me since they didnt ship the item until a couple of days later??!!
I think that is rude, unprofessional and I wont shop there again since they dont think they did anything wrong. There are other merchants out there who...

I love coming to sears for Lands End products. I like the quality, price, size availablity. I like the looks of the clothing. Its a very modern look! I can come in and pick up a few items & I'm ready for work. I like clothes that are comfortable & easy to wear. Not clothes that if I'm sitting they wrinkle, or look like you have been sitting in them all day.
