I don't know what Lancome puts in their eyeshadow, but it irritates my eyes. I think it might be whatever makes it shiny -- maybe nickel? It's a big pity becuse I've gotten several samples from buying other Lancome products, and I can't wear them. They have beautiful colors that blend well and I bet last a long time if you're not constantly  rubbing your eyes -- which is what I end up doing when I try to wear Lancome eyeshadow. I have several friends who say the same thing. They do come in attractive packaging. I think you can also but a case that you fill with your chosen colors -- rather environmentally friendly of them. Interestingly, this problem of eye irritation does not transfer to their other eye products. I use their Sumptuous mascara as well as the white mascara base -- which works great to lengthen the life of your mascara! I also use their eye makeup remover. I think Lancome is a quality product. I wish they would make their eye shadow more hyperallegenic.

Lancome Sensational Effects Eye Shadow Quad is a great quality eye shadow. It doesn't crease, applies easily, blends like a dream, and lasts all day or night. I love applying my eye shadow when I use Lancome Sensational Effects Eye Shadow Quad. It makes application so easy and fun. It's now longer a long process to get my eyes to look beautiful. With less expensive, lesser quality brands I spend much of my time trying to blend the shadow to make it look smooth and even. With my Lancome shadow I apply it run my finger gently across my lid and that's it! It saves time and makes my eyes look their best. I've gotten so many compliments on my eyes since I've started using this combined with Lancome's mascara. This product is amazing to me. I absolutely love it. It's beautiful and it lasts. I've never been one to pay expensive prices, even for good, quality items, but one day I decided to splurge in the department store, and I'm glad I did. This product blends and accentuates the eyes perfectly. I have huge eyes and it's hard to keep the eyelids covered at all times and other eyeshadows fade and rub off during the day, but this one actually stays on whether I'm outside swimming, jogging, or just walking around, and when I'm inside, just lounging around, or bustling around getting things done. I would recommend this to anyone looking for quality eyeshadow. It would make a great Christmas or birthday gift to a young teenager, or even to a middle aged woman, because females of all age deserve quality items like those made by Lancome. I have spent the money on this product, and I am willing to spend it again. :)

Lancome eye shadow is great for the value.  It goes on nicely and stays on for a couple of hours, and comes off easly at night before going to bed (use vasaline to take off makeup, it comes right off and leaves your face feeling soft)!!  I usually get the quad eye shadow free in a gift pack when I buy mascara, or base makeup.  The colors Lancome put togeather match beautifully and can go on smoothly.  The Quad pack is small and can fit in a small zipper compartment in your purse, less chance of it getting lost.  The one thing about the shadow is it does not stay on or last, the shadow once applied seems to last for a couple of hours then fades away.  But overall I like it and I do reccommend the Lancome product line to my friends and others.  It goes on smooth and is easy to blend in.  The shadow tends to last a while too, there are some I recieved a year ago and I still have them and are using them, so even though its a small pack the quality is there in product and price!! If you have never tired the Lancome line its about time you do!!  Once you do, you will never look back!!

I got these free from Lancome and absolutely loved them. They last forever and come in quads that can be mixxed. You can either use one or all four colors to make a neat look. I like the matte colors best. The color doesn't fade and it very bold. Everyone is jealous of my eyes.

I have been in love with this eye shadow since I bought it a few days ago. I will definately buy it once more time after I am done with this one. The first time I laid my eyes on this product  I knew that it would be using it for a long time. It has become a staple of my day to day make up, but can also be used to dress up any outfit. It blends beautifully and I had no problems using it, I can be a bit clumpsy applying the make up on my eyes as they are very sensitive to anythin on them, but this one has been so easy to apply and it lasts through an eventfull day/night. at some point I actually cried while wearing the eye shadow and I was expecting it to be smudged all over my eye lids, but it was still there holding up. the superior quality makes it easier for my eyes to get used with the make up. I will definately buy more of this eye shadow and cannot wait to show it off in my office. The girls st work will go crazy over it!
