Lancome Renergie Lift Make Up SPF 20  —

I admit, I am young looking for my age, and normally do not purchase make up or skin care products for "lift" or anti-aging properties.  But I left my foundation at home so while visiting my mother I borrowed her Lancome Renergie Lift Make Up SPF 20.

Lancome Renergie Lift Make Up SPF 20 is a 1.0 ounce bottle of foundation with sun protection level 20.  It is in a heavy glass bottle not easily broken, with a small "pump" similar to those on hand lotions used for dispensing the make up.

Priced at approximately $45.00 it may be considered very expensive, but the bottle really does last a long time.

The Lancome Renergie Lift Make Up SPF 20 foundation comes in approximately 15 colors to choose from, each of the starting with the title "lifting."  It is designed for normal to dry skin.

It advertises itself as a having the ability to transform you skin instantly to even younger looking skin. Quote, The innovative Micro-LiftTM technology with Pure Vitamin E immediately smoothes skin resulting in an instant, lines virtually disappear. Skin radiates seamless beauty.

My Viewpoint:  I have now been using my Lancome Renergie Lift Make Up SPF 20 for several months.  I  probably would never have purchased this item for myself, but I also wear very little make up, such as some foundation, mascara and lipstick and I am out the door, especially at the price of $45.00.  What was truly gratifying to me was after running around Dayton, Ohio all day long, and experiencing a rather stressfull day I stopped by my in laws (for some comfort and wine).  My father in law said, "Wow!"  Lisa you have always had beautiful skin, but you are absolutely glowing today,"  My mother in law wondered what I had done to my skin to make it look so smooth, soft and radiant.  I actually had to think about it.  Then I remembered!  Now, to get that kind of reaction, I will definitely spend a lot more money on my foundation. Since a little goes a long way, and my skin looks healthy, why spend almost the same amount over the course of months buying bottle after bottle.

Lancome Renergie Lift Make Up SPF 20 holds up well in the Houston heat.it goes on smooth and creamy and is very easy to remove also.  I have used it all summer, and without any other sun protection product I have avoided sun burns and my skin at the end of the day still looks fresh and smooth.  Although I have never had a problem with acne, sometimes I would get a break out here and there when switching make up and that did not happen to me with this one.

5 Stars from this 40 something mom.  I intend to grow old gracefully, but not fight it and if this can make my face look smooth and radiant then I will definitely keep buying it.

Oh my <blushing> you are definitely my new BFF too! Hopefully all the good clean living we "older" moms do (HEHE) is going to pay off in keeping us young.

Ahh Clinque, the moisturizer is so good makes my face say Ahhhaaa, but can't afford to have both so go for the foundation and take a less expensive moisture.

Sounds like you love Lancome like I swear by Clinique.

Now that I'm retired, I don't put on "the works" every day, in fact I rarely wear cosmetics at all but when I do I am Lancome all the way even though they are a tad more expensive. If you go through MyPoints to order from the Lancome website, you really earn a lot of points and YO, Lisa! -- an order from the Lancome website comes with tons of free samples!

Oh wow, what a great compliment from your FIL, especially after a stressful day. And you do look really good in that photo. Thanks for the great review, I'll have to look into this makeup, I could use something like this!

I was using Clarins for the last two years but just bought some Physician's Formula and Revlon. So far I could have bought the Lancome, loved it more than these and spent the same amount of money. Have fun tonight!
