Lancome Miracle EDP Perfume Spray Review

Quick View:  I am not a fan of floral fragrances and shun most classic scents. However, after trying Lancome Miracle EDP Perfume Spray, which was given to me as a gift by a friend, I realize that a little bit of a frilly scent can work for me. This is a sexy, very feminine scent that I like for a nice change of pace.

My Take on Lancome Miracle EDP Perfume Spray

My review entitled My Top Fragrances: Fresh, Clean, and Sexy! really says it all about my preferences. I don't like florals and I prefer fresh, clean, or citrus scents. When I was sent a 1.7 ounce bottle of Miracle, I didn't even like that the box was pink. That, to me, seemed like the scent would be very floral and maybe even a rose scent. I like roses but hate wearing their scent on me.

I was mistaken though. Lancome Miracle EDP Perfume Spray really doesn't have a marked floral scent. More, it smells sweet and feminine. It's definitely a girly scent but not at all classic or overwhelming. It's hard to describe the actual scent of Miracle. It has notes of jasmine and amber as well as some floral notes but I can't discern any particular scent when I spray this fragrance on me. Instead, I smell a nice mix of sweet and sexy, casual and feminine. It smells pink. The color of the fragrance really does reflect what I perceive the scent to be colored if scent, indeed, had a color. It is very decidedly feminine but a younger feminine, not an older classic type.

Lancome Miracle EDP Perfume Spray is concentrated and a few sprays is plenty. It lasts a long time on my skin. It starts out a bit strong but quickly dries down to a nice, subtle yet noticeable scent that I find perfect for a change of pace from my usual similar scented fragrances - all which seem to be either fresh or citrus.

Miracle is light enough for summer but can be worn year round. It's fine for everyday or for night time events. It isn't complicated yet it does get noticed. I have been complimented on my fragrance a number of times since I started wearing Miracle which surprised me because, to me, it smelled pretty common. One of my sons actually said it smelled good and he hates most of my perfumes.

If Lancome Miracle EDP Perfume Spray was an outfit, it would be a pretty yet casual dress, a nice pair of heels, and chunky, trendy jewelry. It is feminine and yet there is a streak of wildness to the scent that makes it unique. Lancome makes a lot of really good fragrances and I'm interested in trying some others. They seem to capture certain personalities perfectly.

I like Lancome Miracle EDP Perfume Spray as a change of pace. I wouldn't wear it daily but, for me, it's a scent that I use to switch up things and when I want to feel a bit more classically feminine. I wore it to dinner with my sons and was complimented by a fellow diner who I sat near at a Japanese restaurant. The best part was that the diner was a classy woman who liked the scent so much that she went out of her way to ask me what the name of the fragrance was so she could get some. That's a pretty bold testament to the nice scent of Miracle.

My Viewpoint

I like Lancome Miracle EDP Perfume Spray as a feminine, sweet scent that is a change from my usual choices in fragrance. It isn't my favorite scent and I doubt I will ever veer too far from my standbys but I will continue to wear Miracle when I want to use a feminine, soft scent that's a change of pace. This makes a great gift for any woman because it is very universal. There are also other products with the same scent to use for layering. I give this fragrance 4 stars.
