Hypnose from Lancome is a wonderfully rich, yet light perfume. I have never liked a fragrance that is overpowering and I always prefer my perfumes to be more understated. Too many times I have nearly choked to death when having encountered the heavy fumes that many of the other popular perfumes leave behind in their wake. Hypnose is not like that at all and is the perfect blend of passion flower and vanilla. The glass bottle is elegant and unique in design and is the perfect match for this wonderful fragrance. If you like a subtle perfume, Hypnose is a great choice. It is a little on the pricey side, but it is well worth the cost in my book. It is a wonderful choice as a gift for anyone who likes perfume.

Perfume has always been an essentual part of my routine. For years, I played around with different scents, with a preference for those that were soft, yet had staying power. About three years ago, my husband and I were strolling through the mall, and I stopped at the Lancome counter to look at a lovely shaped bottle with lavender colored perfume inside. After spritzing a small amount onto a paper strip, I decided that it smelled so good I would try it on my wrist. Well- my husband immediately demanded that I buy a bottle of Hypnose! He said that it was the best fragrance he had ever smelled, and since that time, he has never let me run out of Hypnose. Lancome has wonderful deals with Hypnose. I have collected many totes, makeup bags and samples of makeup- just by buying a bottle of my favorite perfume. The scent of Hypnose is soft, yet sensual. I have gotten quite a few compliments from complete strangers when I was wearing it, and I intend to keep buying and wearing Hypnose!

Lancome Hypnose Fragrance was introduced to me when I visited my sister. I felt something sweet and delicated in the air. I was very surprised when I got Lancome Hypnose Fragrance on the next day. I LOVE LOVE LOVE it! All my friends love it too :) If I don't know what to buy for the birthday gift I buy something from Lancome. I love this brand and they never make me sad. One good and helpful advice: the price for Lancome products may vary from store to store. Try to find stores online and compare prices before you go there and buy something (e.g. when I purchased Lancome products last week I found that here is the most cheap products: http://www.fragrancex.com/products/_cid_Perfume-am-lid_H-am-pid_60696W__products.html ). My order from this site was delivered  quicker than expected. Once again I am a very satisfied with Lancome products and I am going to buy them in the future. I LOVE perfumes and own about 18 of them at the moment! I just LOVE smeling different everyday and trying different scents of perfumes. The only perfume I have had for a very long time is Miracle, by Lancome. My mother, knowing I love Miracle so much presented me with Hypnose, another Lancome perfume. While the smell is good, it is just a bit too strong for me. I like strong perfumes, but the Hypnose smell was just kinda of too sweet and underwhelming while being too strong for me to really like it. Of course I kept it and used it, but it was not my favorite by far. It is very expensive, but then again, it is Lancome and their products are in general not known for their bargain price. On the other hand, it is memorable and it lasts for a long time. It is a great perfume for night and cold use, not so much for day or hot summer time. The box and bottle are beautiful though and it would make a great gift.

I could not wear perfume for over 15 years because of alergies my late husband had to anything flowery! After he passed, I tried a couple different perfumes but they seemed so strong and overpowering! I just wasn't used to wearing anything for so long. Then one day, I was walking through a department store and Hypnose had just been introduced! So I tried it....wow! I bought it immediately. Hypnose is all I ever wear now! I can't imagine chaning to anything else. This is the softest, most subtle fragrance I have ever had the pleasure of trying & wearing! I wear it every day weather I am going somewhere special or not. I want this to be 'me'. You know, years and years from now, when my grandsons smell Hypnose, I want them to say 'hey, this smells like grandma'. I have had women and men stop me and ask what the fragrance is that I am wearing! That tells me I am wearing the right thing! I don't do the lotions and all the other products. I just use the perfume. I don't want the fragrance to linger after I walk by - I just want it to be subtle & nice! Try it, you will love it!!!!

I absolutely adore this fragrance and has been one of my favorites for years. Lancome Hypnose is definitely hypnotic and the smell is so breathtaking. My friends,co-workers,and even stangers have come up to me and asked what type of perfume I am wearing when I wear this fragrance. The bottle comes in this very stylish packaging and the bottle itself is very cute. The smell has a nice aroma that is not heavy at all. It is realy hard to describe the smell but it is very sweet and fresh. One thing that I love is how long the aroma last. One spritz last me the whole day's worth. Only bad thing I can think about it is the price. It is definitely not cheap especially at department retail stores like Dillards. If you wanna save a few bucks definitely look for it online; I usually buy it off of Amazon but maybe you can find it at a low price if you look hard enough. You also cannot go wrong with the larger 2.5 oz since you will definitely be hooked after wearing it for the first time.

This is the best fragrance I've ever used. So many people complement on the smell and then go out and purchase it for themselves - they love it when they get it home because it tends to smell a little bit different on everyone. If you are looking for a light, flowery scent with no too many heady overtones - then Lancome Hypnose is for you!

I am very picky about perfume and have only found a few I have ever liked. This is one of them. Its reasonably priced and very nice. It is subtle and feminine. It;s not overbearing or smell like chemicals.

I love perfume but I'm also picky about the scents I wear. I love Lancome's Hypnose. It has subtle vanilla undertones with a little muskiness that make the scent very appealing. It's not overbearing like some perfumes. It smells inviting. Even my husband likes it. Hypnose is best worn in layers. I use the body lotion first and then layer on the perfume. The scent stays with me all day. There aren't many perfumes I will buy repeatedly but Lancome's Hypnose is one of them that I do buy again and again. The price is reasonable as compared to some department store brands, something that's very important in this economy. You want to smell nice but don't want to spend all the grocery allowance to do so. This perfume does it for you, a nice scent at a reasonable price with money left over. If you're lucky you can get the gift pack, a great value which includes the perfume and the body lotion, a win-win selection.

Lancome Hypnose Fragrance will mesmerize your senses in a soothing way.  The smell of this product is transfixing, exciting and free.  The scent will let you be free to be!  I couldn't resist saying that because it rhythms.  Anyway, the scent is feminine in a sweet way.  It's a little flowery too.  The scent is clean and crisp as well.  It will hypnotize you or others in a very disarming way.  You might just get attention from people who pass by you who are curious about what you have on.  The design of this product is tres chic and somewhat unique.  The color of the bottle looks clear and the fragrance looks like a bright "dark ocean blue" color making this fragrance all the more transfixing.  The fancy writing on the bottle will get many a stare, if you decide to wear and share.  It comes in a container, which I would say is between small and medium.  You can carry it pretty much anywhere.  When I tried this fragrance, it didn't irritate my nose or my skin, which is always nice to know before you buy it.  Lancome Hypnose Fragrance can be a bit expensive.  Try and find a gift with purchase.  You never know, you might luck out and get one.  If I was rating this fragrance on a scale of "1-10", I'd have to give it an "8".
