Perfume has always been an essentual part of my routine. For years, I played around with different scents, with a preference for those that were soft, yet had staying power.

About three years ago, my husband and I were strolling through the mall, and I stopped at the Lancome counter to look at a lovely shaped bottle with lavender colored perfume inside.
