Great colour payoff but it doesn't last too long on my oily skin. Maybe if you used a really good primer it would last longer it only lasted about four hours on me. I bought three shades and I love all of them. I would buy again but I recommend bringing it with you to work to reapply

Lancome Eyeshadows are true to color. The color you see in the palette is the exact color you will see on your face. This is a quality product. It does not cake. It can be worn with a primer, over lotion or on your bare skin while holding it's color and lasting all day. Lancome makes just about every color for this eyeshadow line but they are hard to find since they are so popular. Included with the palette is a curved application brush that works great and is fun to use. The brush does not tear apart after a few uses. You can finish the palette and the brush will still be in tact. The eyeshadow can be carried around in your purse or make up bag without it falling apart. Since it's true to color only a little bit is needed. It can be applied with a brush, applicator or finger just fine. Usually Lancome eyeshadows are not on sale even when other Lancome products are. They sell no matter what. They are just that good.

The Lancome Color Design Sensational Effects Eyeshadows are fantastic. I am a big fan of makeup, eyeshadows specifically and I have a great variety of brands and presentations. Lancome is one of my favorites. They have a lot of diversity of colors and presentations whether you are looking for a single color or a compact with a blend of several. As the name says they really do have a smoothness about them when applying, which make is very simple. Also, they have great hold and last through the whole day. The texture of the eyeshadow is superb and it does not bleed, fade, or smudge during the day. If you have oily eyelids, I would suggest applying an eyeshadow base before you apply the eyeshadow for better hold and to prevent creasing as the day goes by. The eyeshadows are also great for sensitive eyes and do not cause a reaction. The slide off lid is really great and never breaks off and seals in tight the shadow to prevent dirt or dust coming into contact with it. I would suggest these eyeshadows to anyone who loves to makeup their eyes and add a little something extra to their look.

I used to be a faithful customer of Lancome eyeshadow. They lasted long and were decent coverage and texture. When Lancome did some changing, however, I was upset to find that the Color Design line of eyeshadow were giving me some serious problems! WHAT IS LANCOME COLOR DESIGN EYESHADOW LIKE? In a black pan with a clear sliding cover on top, the Lancome Color Design Eyeshadow comes in some of the most beautiful colors I have seen. They have various textures and coverage levels as well. There is no observable fragrance. The price is a bit steep, but for the colors and textures, some people find them worth it. HOW DOES LANCOME COLOR DESIGN EYESHADOW PERFORM? Lancome Color Design Eyeshadow was exciting to me - at first. Then I tried to use them and the love affair ended abruptly. The colors would go on beautifully and then a half hour later, GONE! I am a makeup artist and was constantly irritated at the insistence of the counter sales associates who insisted that I needed to use an eyeshadow base and that would not happen. Let me say right now, I have a collection of eyeshadow primers/bases and not one of them will keep this eyeshadow from disappearing on me. I have also put this line of Lancome eyeshadow next to other eyeshadow that I knew would last, and interestingly, the Lancome eyeshadow would be gone and the other would still be there. FINAL COMMENTS After many frustrating times of trying to make the Lancome Color Design Sensational Effects Eyeshadow to stay in place on my eyes, I finally gave up trying. Only one or two colors would stay in place without disappearing. Quite frankly, I have access to many other shadows that I know will stay put, so I don't need to try with these.

Lancome products are my favorite of all the counters I've tried. In general, there products are so high quality, it is well worth the money you pay. Their Color Design Sensational Effects Eyeshadow is no different and does not disappoint. The colors are so bright and gorgeous. They blend just the right amount. Some brands I've tried, you blend and they just disappear. Lancome's eyeshadow is smart and goes just where you want it. It doesn't fade and your eyes will still look fabulous at the end of the day. I think Lancome's Eyeshadows are a nice alternative to the more expensive brands. They aren't cheap by any means, but you get what you pay for in makeup, as well as in many other things. The pigments are great, there's a nice range of colors to chose from, and they stay on your eyes. Everything you want in an eyeshadow. I say knock yourself out! Another bonus, they are GREAT with samples!!

Lancome Color Design Sensational Effects Eyeshadow Smooth Hold has so many wonderful colors to choose from that it will be hard for you to find just a few favorites!  I have quite a few colors of this because it is just such wonderful and highly pigmented eye shadow that I just love it.  Lancome Color Design Sensational Effects Eyeshadow Smooth Hold feels like silk to apply and it lasts all day long!  It does not tug or crease at all and it just glides onto your eye lids with such ease that you will fall in love with the eye shadow the first time that you use it.  I really like how the shimmery shades are not overpowering at all they have very natural and nice looking shimmer to them, never gaudy or trashy looking.  Lancome Color Design Sensational Effects Eyeshadow really is worth the price tag because it is so highly pigmented and lasts all day long that it will take you a long time to use up this very generously sized pot of eyeshadow!

I love this so much. I love the color ,and it works so well. IT DOESN'T clump and is so shimmery and soft. I plan on buying more just to keep at my vacation homes and some for my daughters. I love lancome products,. Well worth the pricetag. I wwill be purchasing this brand until I die. I am very loyal to the brand and think others should be too. If you are a fan of wearing makeup and ocassionally like to look like a clown, then this stuff is for you. Don't worry about the ingredients and if it might cause a future fetus you are carrying birth defects. It is totally worth it. I love to wear makeup and won't leave my home without it. I feel empty if I don't have any of it on. It is the perfect makeup/.

I have only recently started to use Lancome products and I am really glad I did because I am in love with their shadows. They go on so nice and smooth which is important if you do not want it to tug you lids. You get a lot of pay off for the pigment because you do not need much to get the true color. The packaging is cute and different from other brands I have seen. They also have a great selection of color that suits those that want to go natural or experiemental. It is also fantastic for many different skin tones. It is a bit on the expensive side but if you are looking for good quality eye shadows without paying crazy amounts for it than this is it. I would also look at your CCO (outlets) for thses shadows on sale.

This is the best eyeshadow I have ever used. It stays in place perfectly, blends very well, and not that bad of a price. I loved the colour selection, a lot of pretty pastels for this spring. It lasts all day, even after running after a toddler and taking tween to practice. It's very light, I can't even feel that I am wearing anything and doesn't pull down my eyes like a lot of other eye shadows do. It's very easy to do a smokey eye with this eye shadow because it's more creamy than powdery, and doesn't flake all over the place. Even with using my brushs, it doesn't produce a lot of dust, so I don't have eye shadow all over my face. I would recommend this to anyone, it would even work well with older ladies because it doesn't crease.

**Lancome Color Design Sensational Effects Eyeshadows **are great, I am in love with them. The aplication is so smooth and it does not settle into the cracks of my eyelids (this is a huge eye shadow pet peeve of mine). This shadow is availible in so many different indivdual colors (also availible in set), I am just in love with the selection. The color is very rich and intense! There is a color in the line for everyone. This eyeshadow has great staying power, it lasts all through my long day as a mommy, now tell me thats not lasting power! I like that these are in individual pots so I can pick and choose my own colors, as I find a lot of times that I do not even use half of the colors that come with certain sets. I prefer to pick all of my own colors and these shadows allow me to do just that.
