Lamas Beauty Citrus-C Face & Body Wash Review

After I had particularly awful experiences with many makeup removers, including LANCOME BI-FACIL, CHANEL, and ESTEE LAUDER, I was very frustrated trying to find something to remove my makeup and not leave me with raw dry skin or oil covered eyeballs.

I had purchased a facial cleanser some time back from LAMAS BEAUTY called CITRUS-C FACE & BODY WASH.  I was having some trouble trying to remove the MAC LIQUID LAST LINER as well as some waterproof mascara that I had tried out.  All of the other makeup removers left me with terrible problems.

My eyelids were raw at the time from watering eyes already, and no makeup remover- including Maybelline- would remove the makeup without worsening my lids.

One day out of desperation, I decided to try using the LAMAS BEAUTY CITRUS-C FACE & BODY WASH on my eyes.  I was shocked at how beautifully it worked.  

WHAT IS LAMAS BEAUTY CITRUS-C FACE & BODY WASH LIKE?

LAMAS BEAUTY CITRUS-C FACE & BODY WASH is a lovely orange scented facial wash that does not have any sodium lauryl sulfate in it.  It does give a little suds but it does not strip the skin like SLS facial washes do (I will abbreviate sodium lauryl sulfate as SLS from this point on in the review).

Although this is not a totally natural product, the majority of ingredients in LAMAS BEAUTY CITRUS-C FACE & BODY WASH are natural and excellent for skin.  So far I have not had a problem with the cleanser.  I have a problem with ingredients that are related to SLS so I am thankful to find this cleanser.  There are a few ingredients that super sensitive people might have trouble with, so I am including the ingredient list with this review.

I do not use LAMAS BEAUTY CITRUS-C FACE & BODY WASH daily on my face unless I need to remove eye makeup or face makeup.  I use AUBREY ORGANICS BLUE GREEN ALGAE cleanser for my daily facial cleansing.

HOW TO USE

As I said, I don't tend to use the LAMAS BEAUTY CITRUS-C FACE & BODY WASH on a daily basis.  I prefer to save it for using to remove face and eye makeup.  This face & body wash not only removes makeup, but it also has a toner right in it, which makes the face very toned afterward.

I only use the size of a lentil when I cleanse my face and it works on my eyes and entire face very well.  I have used it on the body when we were on vacation and I forgot my body wash.  It was not a problem for me at all, although the toned skin feeling on my entire body felt weird at first.

FINAL COMMENTS

I really love LAMAS BEAUTY CITRUS-C FACE & BODY WASH.  For 6 oz of product in a flip top plastic bottle, the price is $19.00.  That sounds very expensive but by only using it for makeup removal, I have had the average bottle last for at least two years.  As a body wash, that would not be the case, however.

I can not be without this face & body wash.  It will remove makeup like no other product- from very high end to the low drugstore end.  I have tried all kinds of products from waterproof makeup remover to high end top of the line stuff and I still go back to LAMAS BEAUTY CITRUS-C FACE & BODY WASH.

Lamas Beauty has a satisfaction guarantee on their products which they do make good on.  I have returned products to them with good results before because I was not satisfied. This face & body wash is fabulous, however.
