Good prices, good items, just be patient!

I read some of the other reviews of Lakeside and I find it hard to believe that some people have had such bad experiences. I've ordered items from Lakeside about 5 different times and have only had one problem, where they sent the wrong size of a pair of sandals. Other than that, I haven't had any problems that would make me really upset. I love getting this catalog. There is always new, cute stuff to be had. The prices aer always VERY reasonable. But, you have to make sure to look at the dimension so the product. In the catalog, a bench seat may look great. But, when you get it, it's only 2 feet long and 3 feet high. That may be great for your kid's room, but you may have been ordering it to sit by your front door. Also, I have ordered over $100 worth of products for this holiday season. I had the worst online shopping experience ever with this company. I placed an order over a month and a half ago and have yet to recieve any items or any response from the company (I have emailed twice and called twice). I finally see that my item has been shipped but I would never buy from them again even if they had the best prices and best shipping. I have ordered from Lakeside Collection on two occasions. The first time, I called in an order from a catalog I received. With that order, I received my items in a little over a week, which wasn't too bad considering the low shipping costs. — — With my second order, I decided to order online. I was excited to see satin sheets for only $19.95 - only to be disappointed when two weeks after I'd placed my order, I learned that the sheets had been cancelled because they were out of stock. I ordered chair pillows as a birthday gift. A few days later I tried to cancel, — since it would not come in time. The items were "READY TO SHIP", but — they claimed they couldn't cancel the order. Moreover it wasn't shipped — for a another 4-5 days. In other words, the order was "stuck" in their — warehouse. I ordered online from Lakeside last year & items were in my home in about 10 days...I was thrilled with their service. I ordered earlier this year and received 11 of the 12 items in about 2 1/2 weeks. All items showed "ready to ship" about 4 days after I entered the order. The last item is still showing "ready to ship" status. I called the customer service dept (or should I say the the customer non-service dept) & was told it would ship out this week. I place my order on the 1.4.08 & them decided to cancel the order; I tried on the web & it wouldn't let me. I was to contact 1st thing Monday morning & I was told the order wasn't in the system & that I would have to call back on Wenesday. When I called them back on 1.9.08, I was told that they couldn't as the order had shipped, but the money wasn't taken out of my acct until 1.14.08 due 1.17.08. i ordered a product from Lakeside.com...this stuff is for my husband..since he was on the road that time, i keep it in the safe place and waits till he gets home to see it ... when hes home, i brought out the product that i got from lakeside.. i put a new batteries....but it wasnt working..i dont know whats the problem..then my husband is asking the outlet cord of the product..i told thim i didnt see anything like a cord with this...so im kind of wondering ,whats happened...and we noticed that theres a damaged inside...foam in there was ripped off ... and its looked like that somebody else… read full review »

Lakeside collections ripped me off.

Last Christmas I had ordered over $100 worth of items. I got my package about 3-4 weeks after placing my order and 4 of the items in my package were not items I had ordered. I sent them an email and mailed the items back as the return shipping said and I did not get my other items nor did I get a refund.
