The LaFuma Hybrid Lounger is tough to tell from my favorite folding recliner, the Travel Chair Lounge Lizard. Both have a host of nice features, including adjustable headrest and the ability to lock tthe chair in position, although the lock isn't rock solid.

The Hybrid Lounger looks a little better, feels more solidly built, and the arm rests are more comfortable. (The end of that last sentence may sound like faint praise, but the arm rests do matter.) The Hybrid Lounger had me right up until the comfort test, and then the Hybrid Lounger falls behind. The fabric of the Hybrid Lounger is attached solidly to the rails (while the Lounge Lizard is laced on with elastic cords), and it doesn't have any give. Okay, there's some give, but you just don't get to sink into comfort like you should in a recliner.

The Hybrid Lounger is also (way) more expensive.

Try out the Lounge Lizard and the Hybrid Lounger. If the Hybrid Lounger feels comfortable to you, I would recommend it if you can afford it. I think it's going to last longer. Otherwise, go with the less expensive one.
