I have 3 budgies that love this nutriberries.  Yes, nutriberries are a complete diet but....... my budgies will not eat the little pellets that are in these.  They will pick around them and only gnaw on the molasses and seeds.  I have to smash them up in order for them to eat the berries.  If I leave them whole, then they will use them for "toys!"  I kept wondering what a small thumping noise was when I first fed the berries.  Then I saw!  One of the girls was picking the berry up and tossing it; and she was having quite a bit of fun at it, too, I might add.  But in all seriousness, these are a good treat food for your birds.  If you have the smaller birds that don't hold the food in their foot, then I recommend that you smash the berry into a treat cup for them to eat.  But don't depend on them eating the pellets out of the berries.  Some birds will eat the pellet.  Mine won't!
