Lady Speed Stick Invisible Dry Wild Freesia Antiperspirant & Deodorant —

I have been on a quest for proper underarm protection since my underarms first produced an odor. Sprays, roll ons, sticks, deodorant, antiperspirant, you name it I have tried it. My friend included a few sticks of the Lady Speed Stick Wild Freesia in a gift bag that she gave me as I was moving to another city. I am not one to turn a gift down, but I had to re-gift this product. It has a very strong sweet candy like smell, that haunted me all day. Now, I love a good fragrance more than the next girl, but this was not good and it was far too strong. It clashed with my perfume, my lotion and it gave me a headache. I stopped short of taking a second shower because that would have made me late for work.

On the positive side, it did not irritate my underarms, and did not leave any white residue, and it kept me dry. But... the smell. No thanks. I would rather smell like I just came from a gym rather than Lady Speed Sticks verison of Freesia.

It is currently hot (for us) aound 80 and it is raining so it is a little steamy. But next week we may not make 60. Winter is knocking on the door. :-(

I thought so. One of my first long-distance relationships was with a young woman from Portage....that was in 1999. It started out well (don't they all?) but ended not-so-well....I hadn't thought about Portage till I saw your current home town....Is it cooling up there? It's still hot and humid in Miami.

Thanks. And yes Portage is a surburb of Kalamazoo which (to me) is a surburb of Chicago :-)

Nice review. Say, isn't Portage a town that's like a suburb of Kalamazoo?
