For the past several years, I often have to place an order for my mom of this product, she swears by it and so do I now that I have tried it for the past several weeks. It is ideal for my sensitive, yet oily skin. It really clears up my blemishes without drying out my skin and I have noticed a big difference. This container also lasts a long time. It usually lasts about 3-4 months since all you need is about a quarter-sized for each application. I like to use this product in the AM and then PM right before I go to bed. The scent is refreshing and helps me wake up in the morning. I have also noticed that whenever a new blemish appears or a pimple, within 2 days it is gone when I use this product, which I am very impressed and grateful for! Because of how gentle it is to my skin, I also use it to remove make-up. With some warm water, it really takes off how that yucky make-up after a long day!

I was turned on to the La Roche-Posay Effaclar line when I went in for my first facial at a local spa. I suffer from pretty moderate acne and oily/combination and somewhat sensitive skin. So I had been looking for something that would cleanse my skin but also be gentle and not strip my skin of its natural oils and this cleanser did just that. It was very gentle but was very effective at cleansing. Removed my make up with ease and also left my skin very soft and supple. Did not dry out my skin at al. I happen to think the scent is pleasant. Has a soft medicinal scent but not overpowering. At least not for me. It so effective that the scent would not deter me for purchasing it again. My acne has not worsened since using the cleanser. I have been using it in combination with the effaclar toner and acne treatment fluid for 4 month and my skin has become very clear and vibrant. The only complaint I have is the price. It can be somewhat expensive but a little bit goes a very long way. As I said, I've been using it now for 4 months and I still have plenty. I use just a drop twice a day. It is definitely a great product and definitely worth a try!

Effaclar is a great product. If you have a zit sprout up, just exfoliate with an oil free exfoliator and give your face a good scrub. Then wash your face with this stuff after the exfoliation. You will begin to notice that your zit starts to go away. I also use a Neostrata toning solution on top of this. ***** <------ FIVE STARS

I was turned onto the La Roche Posay line after trying the La Roche Posay Effarclar K acne treatment gel. I have to say that while the La Roche Posay line is expensive, the products are pretty good. I have just gotten the La Roche Posay Face Wash, and tried it out a couple of times. I read that it was good for removing makeup, so that is what I used it for (as a nightime face wash). The one relatively minor complaint I have about the product is the fact that the consistency is so thin - it will run right through your fingers and into the sink if you are not careful. Also, I think a little product goes a long way, so you do not need to squeeze out very much to clean your face. While the product does not lather up very much, I do think it does a good job of removing my makeup and leaving my face feeling smooth. Overall, I am happy with this product and think that the tube will last me for a long time.

I;m telling you. This product is amazing. I started to break out like crazy(I guess it was from something I ate). I'm 21 and of course the break-out was not normal. I mean, I get 1-2-3 pimples every now and then, but this kind of freaked me out and it was a little bit embarrassing. So I went to the dermatologist. She gave me oral and topical treatments. She told me to wash my face with this La Roche Posay product and then follow it with a cream from the same category. I;m telling you...I saw visible results from day 3. But beware because this product doest not clean make-up and you're only suppose to use it once a day. So you will also have to buy a make-up remover. But if you have severe acne like I do...buy this product. It's really worth every penny. It controls oil and shine, it smells fresh and it reduces the appearance of acne and also reduces the size of the pores. Use it with confidence.
