Most HelpfulI have always loved La Parilla Suiza. It is very different from the typical "Mexican" food that most Americans know. This is the real deal like you would find in the heart of Mexico. They even have Nopales. I have really enjoyed everything that I have tried but my favorites are chillaquiles - tortilla chips with a bit of sour cream, lots of red sauce and cojito cheese then baked, They also offer this dish with chicken in it, I also love the chorizo and cheese although I can't even imagine (and don't want to) what the fat content is in this dish. My kids love the taquitos and they even have chicken...

The charro beans are my husbands favorite beans, being a "soupish", whole bean in wonderful juices, with lots of onion...My favorite place in the world to order chilaquiles, as they are simple and delicious...not sloppy with lots of extra ingredients...tortillas, sauce and cheese...BRILLIANT!

review »La Parrila Suiza is probably not for everyone. It is Mexico City style food and is quite tasty. This is not your everyday fast food place.
I love the Parrila style plates that you can order with a good variety of grilled meats and vegetables. The hand made tortillas are heavenly.
The atmosphere is excellent, but you should go with plenty of time to sit down and relax while your food is served.
