The LA Looks No. 10 Gel Sport Look Extreme Hold 16oz Blue kept my hair in place, but my spouse referred to touching my hair as ,"Petting a porcupine". Other hair gels have kept my hair in place without feeling so harsh to the touch. The LA Looks No. 10 Gel Sport Look Extreme Hold 16oz Blue went on easily and dried very quickly. It was not what I expected or wanted. If I had a Mohawk like back when I was in high school, this stuff would have been perfect. My hair would have stayed standing upright even through a hurricane. This gel is that strong. The smell was the same as most other gels. It was not strong or overbearing. Thankfully it did not have a feminine or fruity scent. I only used it a few times. It was not what I desired for my hair. Others who need a concrete like mix in their hair will love the LA Looks No. 10 Gel Sport Look Extreme Hold 16oz Blue. It washed out easy with shampoo and leaves no residue.

I really love all kinds of la looks gel especially this one. I am a mix of Cuban and German and I have a very, very thick head of extremely curly hair. It is hard to find a gel where I can wear all my hair down all day. I have found that with la looks. I also love the fact that I can use a lot of it and it does not flake or show white or globs in my hair. I am very satisfied with how it makes my hair beautiful and manageable to keep it down all day without puffing out. Even though I have to use a lot of it, it does not completely harden my hair which I really like. I also really like the fact that it is not expensive. It is an excellent value for the money. I also enjoy the packaging and the size of the bottle. La looks gel has made me a believer and I also shared info with my family. My mom and niece use because of my recommendation. I genuinely love this product and will always be a repeat buyer of this product!

As a curly girl (staying away from sulfates and silicone products) on a budget, this was a life saver. I stopped searching for hair gels and bought a ton of bottles of LA Looks Sport Gel. Literally. I have about 10 bottles on standby. And each bottle seems to last a long time, even though I almost slather it on my curls. Which is why it so great- it almost never gives me crunchy curls.  The gel is a pretty neon blue. The smell is neither unpleasant or pleasant. It isn't a floral scent, though I can't describe it. It's light enough to not be overpowering. It doesn't give me a headache which is all that matters to me. Consistency is a bit more watery than other gels I've tried, which makes it easier to scrunch into my curls. It is the highest strength formula that claims to be activity proof. I can't verify it lasting through vigorous sports, but it does last all day with me being out and about. It is also a color safe formula and made in the USA.

I have been using this product since middle school. This is just might go to brand for men's styling gel. What I like about this is the different colors. They differentiate the strength of the gel and how well it will hold up based on colors. Of course you cannot solely based on colors as sometimes they switch strengths and also because some colors produce different strengths. You need to look at their packaging and usually somewhere near the bottom they will have a number that indicates how strong the gel is. I normally get a eight or a nine because my hair is very stubborn and refuses to stay in one position for a very long. If you use a hair dryer and use LA Looks, with a strong strength, then there is a good chance that your hair will look great the entire day.

I have very curly hair and it is really dry and coarse. I have tried a lot of hair products in hopes of controlling my wild hair. My friend recommended this to me  a while back ago and it definitely does its job. It would hold my hair down completely. I used this gel for a really long time until I found better ones. What I didn't like about this gel is that it was too sticky. Also, it always left my hair looking stiff, flat, and crunchy. My hair didn't look soft and natural. It kept the frizz away though! The gel itself is reallllly affordable! If your hair isn't that crazy I would definitely recommend it. I use this gel still but only when my hair is dry to help control my hair a little bit but I don't rely on this gel to style my hair on a daily basis. I think there are better gels out there that will leave your hair smelling good, looking natural, and feeling soft. This gel is not that gel. Try something else!

I finally admitted after three years, that my hair is wavy after rpegnancy. I have been trying to work with it without having to straighten it. I found Naturally Curly, a website that has taught me the Curly Girl method. One of the things to do is avoid silicones (chemicals ending with -cone), which is suprisingly hard to do. Silicones leave a layer on your hair, holding it down and cutting it off from moisture. LA Looks Sport Gel is one of the gels recommended. It doesn't contain silicones and it has a great hold. I typically wash my hair, add gel, put my hair in a towl overnight, and add more gel once I take my hair out of the towel. If it gets hard, I just quickly scrunch it, but I find the more I mess with my hair, the less hold the products have. I try to not touch my hair to give it the best look. This gel has a good combination of hold vs crunchy. And it doesn't smell like a hair product.
