For any girl going natural, or already natural, this is a great shampoo. It moisturizes dry hair and is not harsh. Only a small amount is needed to cleanse, even for thick hair. This is a great natural shampoo, and I highly recommend it.

Lush Trichomania shampoo is a solid shampoo. It has the best, most natural smelling coconut scent of any coconut shampoo that I ever used. It is recommended for dry hair to help add moisturize and to condition it. It contains both coconut oil and coconut cream as well as a few other basic ingredients. This is the shampoo I take with me whenever I travel simply because it is small and lightweight. Effectiveness My color is colored and permed. It can get very dry especially in the winter months. I use this shampoo a couple times a week to gently wash my hair, add moisture and to make it smell delightful. At first I was skeptical about using a solid shampoo, but Trichomania completely surprised me. After wetting your hair, you simply rub the bar against your hair a few times and it lathers up incredibly, like regular shampoo. It smells so good that I usually let the shampoo linger in my hair longer than normal before I rinse it out. After using Trichomania my hair not only smells great, but it feels soft and normal, not dry. Scent Trichomania is my all time favorite coconut scented shampoo. The scent is light not sickening sweet, or overpowering. It smells like fresh coconut and not like an artificially scented product.

I'm gonna start by saying how much I love Lush shampoo bars in general. I love how easy they are to pop in a bag for a weekend away and not have to worry about airport security confiscating it on me. I love how clean they make my hair. I love how long they last, months and months in some cases. Trichomania is another winner for me. It's pretty strongly coconut scented, not that horrible sweet fake coconut scent you used to get from sunscreen, but a proper coconut scent. It's fantastic for my long curly hair, though I do still need a conditioner afterwards (Coolaulin is great with this as they've both got coconut scents so no weird mixing of fragrances). It leaves my hair curly and soft and bouncy and lots of other lovely words that I like to use about my hair. It doesn't cost a fortune, especially considering how long they last, and you can get them to cut it to the size you want. Like other solid shampoos, it lasts far longer if you leave it in a soap dish or similar after use. To use, just wet hair, rub the bar on your hair a few times and work to a lather. Simple! And it just works.

I actually received this shampoo bar as a free sample along with one of my other purchases at my local LUSH store. It stayed in my shelf for a long time while I used my other shampoos, but when they finally ran out, I decided to give Trichomania a try. My only regret is that I didn't try it sooner! First of all, the scent is absolutely amazing! So coconut-y! Made me feel like I was in paradise every time I used it! I also found that Trichomania was really good for use after a swim. It made my hair soft and manageable, getting all the chlorine out of it. My only complaint about it is that it's not nearly as moisturizing as I'd hoped it would be. I'd read that it made your hair so soft and moisturized that you could skip conditioning and no one would ever know. Unfortunately, I still needed to use conditioner afterwards. However, this is not such a bad thing considering that after conditioning, my hair was literally in heaven! It may be rather expensive for its size, but believe me, a little goes a long way! I managed to use my little sample slice for about 3 months! In the end, it will definitely be well worth your money.

I have 4c hair, which means that I spend a lot of time trying to keep it well moisturized. In the winter this is a rather tricky proposition because of dry air. Trichomania is made mostly of coconut cream and oi, with a little bit of soap to help clean out buildup. Not only is the smell amazing and delicious, but the moisturizing factor is perfect for anyone who faces dry hair. It is also particularly good for anyone with textured or densely curled hair. The only downside that I've faced with this shampoo is that it tends to "liquify" very easily after exposure to water, so I suggest storing it in a plastic bag to keep it safe. I also would suggest using this in combination with another soap in the summer simply because its strong point is moisture and it isn't the ideal soap for removing oil and grease. And of course, while the soap is intensely moisturizing, you should still pair it with a conditioner afterwards.

I love LUSH but I thought solid shampoo was going a bit far. I mean, it just seemed so hippie! But, after taking one whiff of their Trichomania Solid Shampoo I was in love! I use Trichomania mostly in the summer due to the lovely coconut scent that just seems out of place in the winter but it could be used all year round. The scent is simply amazing if you love coconut as much as I do. It's coconut and nothing but. Just pure coconutty goodness. So, you really do need to enjoy coconut as you'll be smelling like it all day as the shampoo leaves its lovely fragrance on your hair. I found myself sniffing my hair repeatedly throughout the day, it smelled that good! As for the whole solid shampoo thing. Yes, it's a bit weird as it feels like you're using soap on your hair, but once you get used to it it's not super strange. It lathers up very nicely and rinses clean with no greasy residue that you might expect from a coconut based product. It leaves your hair very well moisturized, silky and soft, so there is no need for an additional conditioner unless your hair is extra dry and damaged.

I love this shampoo bar.  Its great on my hair which has dry ends and an oilier scalp.  I do need conditioner along with it (Coolaulin, anyone?).  It has a very mild pleasant coconut scent and is easy to use.  Make sure you keep it from getting wet when not using it, it will disappear fast.  Keep it out of the water spray and you will be pleasantly surprised at how long this little bar will last you.  Keep in mind all of the LUSH shampoos and conditioners are silicone free, so if your hair is used to the 'cones you need to give it a week or so for your hair to adjust.  You'll be so glad you did!

How do you turn dry, crunchy looking curls that are dreadlocking from the salty ocean water in to bouncy, moisturized ringlets? By using LUSH Trichomania Bar shampoo. I have incredibly thick, wavy hair. My hair can be a beautiful frame for my makeup free face, or a clump of ugly, dry dreadlocks. I have tried so many different shampoos and conditioners, often feeling that I wasted my money and using up products that don't work for my hair before I try again, standing confused in front of those endless shelves of promise making products. One day I was buying yummy bath bombs at LUSH and found Trichomania. Not as attention grabbing as some of LUSH's pretty, sparkly items, this plain looking shampoo bar has become my favorite LUSH product. A few swipes through my hair, a thorough rinse, and the rich but not greasy coconut oil leaves my thick curls soft and bouncy. Perfect for travel, just store it out of your shower on a draining soap rack. The only thing I wish for is a richer coconut scent.
