LUSH Sweetie Pie Shower Jelly —

LUSH Sweetie Pie Shower Jelly is an interesting little body cleanser.  It looks like a chunk of navy blue Jell-O with loads of silver specks and iridescent purple glitter.  My portion of this product looks very different from the one at the top of the page.  (see photo below for what mine looked like)  Basically, a shower jelly is a block of seaweed gel with essential oils and other goodies to cleanse skin and refresh your mind.

LUSH shower jellies can be a bit of a challenge to use.  You can use them as shampoo, bubble bath, or body wash.  I've been using Sweetie Pie as a body wash in conjunction with my bath pouf.  I get a fair amount of lather, but if I add just a bit of water to the bath pouf, I can get enough out of it to wash my whole body.  The fragrance is lovely, sweet, and fruity... and something that smells an awful lot like blackcurrant.  I enjoy the scent but some may find it unfamiliar and unpleasant.

At $13.00 for a 7 ounce block, LUSH Sweetie Pie Shower Jelly can't be described as inexpensive.  You only need a little piece of it per shower, though, so you can get several weeks out of this product if you use it every single day.  I use it only a couple of times per week so my 3.5 ounce sample is going to last me for quite awhile.

Aside from Sweetie Pie, I've tried LUSH Party On, Big Calm, Joy of Jelly, Champagne Snow Showers, and Jingle Jelly.  While Big Calm will always be my #1 shower jelly, Sweetie Pie is a very close second.  I will definitely buy this product when I finish my sample!

Even if this stuff does last a few weeks, $13 is $13, and a bar of good old fashioned deodarant soap still costs me a mere $1 or so and does the job just fine.
