LUSH Something Wicked This Way Comes is a product that was discontinued by the company about two years ago. I loved it and was very new to the product line at time, so I didn't realize that the company regularly discontinued products. By the time I realized that one of my absolute favorite LUSH products of all time was discontinued, they were all already sold out and I was out of luck. I was very unhappy. It seems that there were enough complaints from customers who were upset about losing their favorite products. LUSH recently launched a "Retro" line that produces about 100 of their formerly-discontinued products... including Something Wicked This Way Comes Bath Melt. I ordered 15 of them.
This bath melt contains moisturizing ingredients like cocoa butter and almond oil. It is designed to be tossed into a warm bath and will slowly liquefy which allows the hydrating ingredients to coat your skin. The company claims that SWTWC "arouses passion" with warming ginger and sexy jasmine. To me, this purple bath treat smells like marigolds, a hint of jasmine, some ginger, and a few other scents. I absolutely adore the scent of Something Wicked This Way Comes. I don't know that I'd describe it as an aphrodisiac or passion-inducing, but I certainly find the scent to be pleasant, invigorating, and basically something that makes me smile every time that I smell it.
A bath with LUSH Something Wicked This Way Comes is a wonderfully-fragrant bath that is full of melted and hydrating ingredients like cocoa butter and almond oil. The long soak in hot water is wonderful and good for my skin. If I just bathe and do a quick hair-wash in the tub water, my skin has a light veil of oils that leaves it feeling hydrated and smelling divine. An extra bonus is the fact that the fragrance lingers in the bathroom for an hour or so after use.
At about $6 each, the LUSH Something Wicked This Way Comes Bath Melt costs about the same as a full bottle of shower gel or body wash. It isn't something that I would feel comfortable using every time I took a bath, but it is a lovely occasional treat. Despite the fact that I ordered 15 of them at one time, I will probably only use one every month or so. When I get down to 10, I will probably order another 15 pieces from the company web site as it is the only way to obtain their "retro" items. I love this bath melt and don't want to have to do without it. I also highly recommend it to those who are looking for a special bath treat. I love Something Wicked This Way Comes!
