I got this hand cream because my hands always get very dry and painfully cracked (mainly my knuckles) in the winter. I've been using this cream for 2 days. My knuckles aren't hurting me anymore, and they're getting softer. I apply this at least twice a day to the backs of my hands. It's quite a relief for my cracked knuckles. This doesn't have a short shelf-life like some other LUSH products, which is a plus. The expiration date on it is 12/25/08. It'll definitely be used up by then!

LUSH's Description:
Deliciously effective almond icing for hands
The delicate, sweet scents of almonds and rose absolute permeate this ultra-nourishing hand cream with coconut butter and wheat germ. One whiff of Smitten and your mind will be transported to a luxurious, sweet place - a marzipan castle, perhaps?

Ingredients:
Almond Oil (Prunus dulcis), Marigold Infusion (Calendula officinalis), Glycerin, Stearic Acid, Cocoa Butter (Theobroma cacao), Cetearyl Alcohol, Cold Pressed Wheatgerm Oil (Triticum vulgare), Cold Pressed Avocado Oil (Persea gratissima), Coconut Butter (Cocos nucifera), Lanolin, Beeswax (Cera alba), Benzoin Resinoid (Styrax benzoin), Rose Absolute (Rosa centifolia), Cassie Absolute (Acacia farnesiana), Perfume, Triethanolamine, Methylparaben, Propylparaben.

Scent: Light almond, with a cinnamon-spiciness to it. I don't smell anything floral, which makes me happy.

Negatives:

The two bad things about this cream are the price of $15.95 for 3.5 oz, and the fact that it is a bit greasy. Those are the only reasons I didn't give it a full 5 star rating. If I get any of the cream on my fingertips, I wipe it off with a napkin or towel. What I've started to do is shake it around in the jar before opening, so some of the cream gets stuck on the underside of the top. Then I dip my knuckles into the cream on the jar top, and rub the cream in using the backs of my hands only. This keeps the cream off my fingertips, and gets it onto the spots where I need it most.

Bottom Line:
This is a great hand cream. I don't use too much at a time, so it should last me a while. I'll definitely buy it again.

Hmmm. My boyfriend gets those cracked knuckles too. I've never heard of that problem until I met him. I may buy this for him! Thanks!
