It's so so. Probably won't repurchase

One of my penchants in life is to try all of the products that LUSH brings out. There was something about the cute name of this product and the interesting color that made me eager to try the Rub Rub Rub shower gel. The Rub Rub Rub worked well for taking all the dirt and oil of my skin, but it didn't really make me feel that clean. I like products that lather like crazy because I feel like I'm actually getting clean with all the foam and suds. This product didn't lather enough for me, so I didn't feel like I was getting the completely clean feeling I'm always after. The scent was kind of smelt like winter fresh gum to me. I don't mind the scent itself, but it wasn't a scent that I really liked to have on my body. I don't think that walking around smelling like a stick of chewing gum is necessarily attractive. I don't plan on repurchasing this product, but it's not the worst product I've ever tried. It's just not for me.

Definitely pleased, but don't buy it in the bottle

I was very happy with this shower gel, although mine came in the squeeze bottle and was very difficult to get out. The new design comes in the black tub, making it much easier to access. With this, you will be able to scoop it out. Definitely use it with a bath poof because it will lather better. I loved the scent of it because it was not too strong, but still pleasant. When using it with your hand, it does not at all exfoliate well. I personally love body scrubs for using in the shower. I bought the smallest bottle when I first tried it because it was the cheapest and I wasn't totally sure about it. I was aggrivated when trying to use it because the salts get stuck in the squeezy part and it's hard to use the product. If you did not shake it up, all of the salt and scrubiness was stuck at the bottom. I'm definitely pleased with the new container design. THe woman in the store told me to use it as a shampoo, but I wouldn't recommend it unless you have a really oily scalp because of the amount of sea salt. Definitely consider trying it if you like salt scrubs!

Could be nice if it didn't smell like toilet water.

A few months ago I bought a small bottle of **LUSH**'s **Rub Rub Rub shower gel.**  I didn't really need it but I liked the bright teal color and the tester at the store smelled kind of nice.  Thankfully I bought the smallest size available as I really disliked this gel. The gel smelled pretty good in the store.  Sort of a clean laundry scent with a touch of something else.  Well maybe the tester was old or the scent changes somehow when exposed to water because when I used the gel in my shower it smelled like those toilet cake things.  I don't even know if those are still made, but I'm thinking of those blobs of blue stuff on a white plastic thing that people used to hook onto the inside of their toilets to clean them or something. If you remember those, that's exactly what Rub Rub Rub smells like.  To me anyway. Other than that Rub Rub Rub works pretty well.  It has a pretty teal color, it lathers great, a little goes a long way.  It seemed a bit thin and runny compared to other shower gels so that was annoying as well. **Bottom Line - I don't recommend.**  It's expensive, smells bad, and is runny.  I gave it to a friend who liked the way it smelled in the bottle but she didn't like it either and ended up tossing it in the trash.
