LUSH Rock Star Soap Review

Rock Star soap is my favorite LUSH soap ever. It's common knowledge that I love pink stuff and I'm tempted to buy almost anything that's pink even if it's ugly or useless. It's a sickness. But I love Rock Star because of its amazing scent. It totally rocks! It's like washing with sweet cotton candy. Yum! I only wish the scent of Rock Star remained on my skin.

The Rock Star soap smells just like Creamy Candy Bath Melt and since so many of you have asked for more products with the same sweet, vanilla perfume, here you go! Cut through a big chunk and you'll find some little white soap stars inside; you'll find even more as you wash with it. You don't have to give this one away, really, but it might make you very popular if you do.

Rock Star smells sweet. That's the only way I can describe it. It smells like sweet, yummy candy with a little vanilla. The scent is very strong but does not (unfortunately) stay on my skin after drying off. Some don't care for the strong scent as it is almost sickeningly sweet. You definitely have to be in the mood for it. I once used it on the morning of a surgery in combination with American Cream conditioner and the smell was so strong and sweet that it almost made me sick. That doesn't usually happen but my stomach was a little upset anyway with the upcoming surgery. But when you're feeling well, Rock Star smells great :)

Rock Star works up into a soft, creamy lather whether you loofah, poof, washcloth or just rub the bar on yourself. I have never found it to be drying or irritating to my skin in any way. It cleans me, rinses off well, and is totally enjoyable to use in the shower. It's the ultimate soap. If only the scent stuck around a while longer.
