LUSH is a British company with a Canadian factory serving North America through stores and its website. They specialize in natural, handmade products for the bath, body, hair, and face. I find their products hit and miss. One product that is a huge hit for me is their LUSH Ocean Salt Scrub. This scrub can be used on the face or body. I use it only on my face because it's pricey but it would make a marvelous all over scrub.

LUSH Ocean Salt Scrub is handmade in LUSH's Canadian factory with natural ingredients. It comes in either a 4.2 ounce tub for $16.95 or an 8.8 ounce tub for $29.95. Pricey? Of course. LUSH is pricey because their ingredients are fresh, natural, and they make every product they sell by hand.

This scrub is a beautiful blue color that is as thick as pudding. You need to stir it up a bit to mix the ingredients and then the fun begins.

The scent of this scrub is awesome. It smells just like the ocean with a touch of lime as well. I love it. It's so non-pretentious.

I scoop a tiny bit of the scrub out and spread it on my damp face. It is just harsh enough to slough off dead skin cells but not so harsh that sensitive skin will be bothered by it.

It is almost mask like on the face while I scrub and the scent takes me to the ocean, one of my favorite places to be.

It rinses off well with no residue and leaves my face looking and feeling sublime. It feels neither dry nor greasy after use. My face literally glows and my skin NEVER usually glows. I have a pallor like a corpse, I kid you not. I don't even think I blush when I blush!

After using this scrub, I glow. Not from the harshness of the scrub, just from revealing brand new, fresh skin cells.

I love and adore my $25.00 three-ounce tube of Philosophy's The Greatest Love Facial Scrub but, honestly, LUSH Ocean Salt Scrub rivals it as far as results and it actually is a lot less expensive. The tub I have will last through many, many uses because so very little is needed.

If you're curious about what is in this scrub, the lush website (www.lush.com) has the ingredients of all its products listed. This scrub has fine and coarse sea salt as its first ingredient. It doesn't just talk the talk, it walks the walk.

LUSH Ocean Salt Scrub is a wonderful, mostly natural facial and body scrub that will leave your skin looking gorgeous. I am somewhat skeptical about many of LUSH's product because they are high priced and sometimes don't do what they promise. This one does. And then some. This is my favorite LUSH product and one I will buy again and again. It's a wonderful facial scrub that will last for ages and a great body scrub as well.
