After hearing so many beauty bloggers rave about LUSH, I decided to give them a try. The Mask of Magnaminty was my first ever product from LUSH. All their products are handmade, using only fresh, natural, and organic ingredients. According to the official LUSH site, the Mask of Magnaminty “Deep cleans breakout-prone skin with a luscious vanilla-mint scent”. Although I don’t really smell the vanilla, I think the scent is pleasant.
I breakout occasionally, and when I do, I use this mask. The Mask of Magnaminty really does help keep the pimples down—it feels cool and tingly, which is very relaxing for me. And after rinsing, my face feels clean and refreshed. However, I don't think it's the most potent mask I've had-- I do believe I've had better, and cheaper, too. I think Queen Helene's Mint Julep Masque is much more efficient and affordable. But if you want to try something fresh, new, LUSH's Mask of Magnaminty is for you.
I bought the smallest jar-- $11.55 for 4.4 oz. It has a shelf life of approximately 4 months.
