If you saw me on the street, you'd never guess that I am slightly obsessed with trying all kinds of beauty products.  I don't wear makeup and my idea of a fabulous lip gloss is Blistex Lip Medex.  Take one peek into my bathroom closet, though, and you'd see that it's jam-packed with dozens of moisturizers, face masks, cleansers, shampoos, conditioners, etc.  When I first learned about LUSH's nine fresh face masks, I knew that I was going to have to try them all.  It was no easy feat to get my hands on them because the closest LUSH shop is an hour away and each container expires about 3 weeks after you purchase it.  This meant that I had to take several road trips down to Atlantic City in order to work my way through the entire lineup.  After testing them all, I have to say that Love Lettuce is one of the very best and definitely worth checking out.

This bright green mask is designed for normal to oily skin.  It contains seaweed, clay, honey, Fuller's earth, glycerine, ground almond shells, ground almonds, almond oil, lavender oil, chlorophyll, and some fragrance.  That's it. It is preservative-free so it must be kept in the refrigerator and is good only for about 3 weeks.  I've been able to get over 10 uses per 3.5 ounce pot of product.

As you spread Love Lettuce across your face, you'll feel the exfoliating action of the ground almonds and almond shells.   This mask is thin so you only need a couple of dabs for complete coverage.  The directions say to leave it on skin for 5 minutes and then gently massage it into skin before rinsing it off.

I love using this product because it leaves my skin feeling smooth, super-soft, and hydrated.  I would use it every day if I could but the LUSH advises you to use it only twice a week.  The only thing that I don't really like about Love Lettuce is the fact that it smells like lavender.  I'm not a big fan of lavender and LUSH seems to put it in almost every single thing that they make.  Aside from the scent, I have nothing bad to say about this mask.  It's terrific and one that I will definitely buy every time I hit the AC LUSH shop.

Great review. The photo makes it look like something I'd put on tacos (-:

So if you can only use it 2x per week, and it expires after 3 weeks, and you can get 10 uses out a jar, do you get more than you need??? P.S. How expensive is it???
