I had read so many rave reviews of LUSH Lemony Flutter Cuticle Butter that I finally decided to buy myself a jar. At $13.25 for a small 1.5 ounce container, I was hoping that this stuff really was as fabulous as everyone said. After using it myself, I am happy to report that this truly is a wonderful, rich moisturizer for hands, feet, and any other bit of dry skin you may have.
As the name implies, Lemony Flutter works well as a cuticle moisturizer. The label exhorts "But don't stop there! Flutter some butter over your heels, elbows, and toes, too." This product contains lemon peel oil, shea butter, beeswax, soybean oil, linseed oil, avocado oil, mango seed butter, palm kernel oil, castor seed oil, wheat germ oil, lavender oil, etc. You get the picture: it contains LOADS of moisturizers to soften and hydrate your tired, parched skin. What really drives the point home, though, is when you unscrew the lid and you get your first glimpse of LUSH Lemony Flutter Cuticle Butter. It looks just like butter!
You only need a small amount of this product to fully moisturize and soften dry cuticles, hands, and even feet. Because it is so thick and rich, it requires some effort to work into skin. Your body heat also aids in melting this cream into dry skin. My dry skin has really improved since I incorporated Lemony Flutter into my skin care and pedicure routine.
I have been extremely happy with my purchase of LUSH Lemony Flutter Cuticle Butter. It smells wonderfully-lemony, it is very effective in moisturizing and softening my dry skin, and it contains lots of fresh, natural ingredients. The price gave me a bit of pause at first but a little really does go a long way. I will definitely be buying this product again!
