A few weeks ago while at a party at my local LUSH store I stumbled up on a gigantic bath bomb called Humango. It was the last of its kind in the bath bomb bins and I could not take my eyes off of it. And when I picked it up to smell it I had to have it despite the hefty $14 price tag.
Humango is more than 24 ounces of bath bomb fun which makes it about 4 times larger than other LUSH bombs. It's plain white in color so it does not turn bath water a pretty color but the scent and softness more than makes up for it.
I had planned to save this bath bomb for Christmas or New Year's Eve or some other special occasion but ended up using it yesterday. I quit my job this week and worked very hard to turn over everything I know to my replacement so I figured I earned a $14 bath.
So yesterday I filled my tub, got in, then gently dropped this enormous bomb into the water with me and it was amazing. It fizzed and rolled around in the water for a full 10 minutes all the while releasing it's wonderful citrusy scents of lemongrass, lime, lemon, and moisturizing mango butter. It did not change the water color at all but did make it slightly cloudy.
This bomb made the water so soft and fragrant that I soaked until the water turned cold before getting out and patting myself dry. It was very enjoyable and, although very expensive, I would totally buy this bomb again for a special occasion. I loved the softness, the scent, the slight cat purring sound it made as it fizzed and rolled around, and just the whole experience. The only thing I'd change about it is to add a touch of color to match the citrusy scent.
